The official have a whinge about postage thread!

I see the majority says I over-reacted. No probs, I'll cop that on the chin.

Couple of things I should note, this is not an OZCT transaction, this is simply a "whinge about postage" thread and post.

Why should it be up to the buyer to make things right, shouldnt the seller be the one to look after their customers?

If the item came from Overseas, I'd be happy to pay that postage, but when asked if $5US was the correct postage from VIC to TAS, shouldnt I expect it to come with $5 worth of postage?

I'm not adding to the soup and stiring it up again, I just feel that I was hard done by, and that it took appropriate feedback to get the message across.

I note also that I have not heard from Carter since the feedback was left, which either tells me they're pissed off, or they don't care and don't want to sort it out?

No more from me on this, I've notched up enough flames, and enemies....

Ye mate...i wouldnt stress out over it.
I think really..there are only 2 factors that a buyer should concern himself with.

1...is the final price including postage acceptable.
2...did the item arrive in good condition and in a timely manner.

For me...if i can answer yes to both then im happy.:D

Whinge about your mistake, Id say!

No one needs to make right on this one. You bid, you accept his terms.

What do you expect??? Put yourself in his shoes...

I would not say enemies. It all come down to differences in opinions and understanding, thats all!

Everyone including myself has had there two bits.

This is an ongoing thread and I don't want to shut it as its helped keep the boards clutter free. Anymore posts on this issue will just be deleted so we can all hug and move on.

Check out the postage on this item:
VintageTopps 1977 Charlie's Angels Trading Card #94 HTF

First off the card it self is worth US$0.50, it is from series two of the three series sets.

Not only does he want to charge you so much for a common card but he wants to slug US$33.00 to send it, if it is not in a one touch case wrapped in gold leaf and placed into a pure silver box then this guy needs to get a life and stop charging so much for international postage and eBay needs to get off there ass and do something about it.

It is people like this that give international sellers a bad name with postage and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I just paid $12usd for reg mail from melb to melb from Carter. Will be interesting to see what $12usd pays for in melb!

$16usd for 1 card, at least it registered and insured, but still! only paid $5.50 for the card, wrote him a message to see if it is negotiable, but dont like my chances!
