Golden State has matched the Clippers offer for Azubuike, and Evans is not heading to Golden State.

The Hawks didn't waste any time filling the void left by Josh Childress, who signed a three-year deal with a Greek team Wednesday.
Journeyman Maurice Evans has agreed to terms with the Hawks on a three-year deal believed to be worth about $7.5 million, according to multiple sources familiar with the situation.
Evans was reportedly close to signing a three-year deal with Golden State on Wednesday, one California newspaper reported.
But that was before Childress bolted for the Euro league and before the Warriors decided to match a three-year, $9 million offer sheet to their own restricted free agent swingman, Kelena Azubuike, from the Los Angeles Clippers Thursday.
Evans, a six-year veteran, started 47 games last season for Orlando, the Hawks' Southeast Division rival, including all 10 playoff games against Toronto and Detroit for the division champs.
He could slide into the sixth-man spot vacated when Childress opted for a deal with Greek power Olympiakos.
Evans, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound swingman, averaged 9.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 68 games last season after being traded to Orlando from the Los Angeles Lakers.
Evans, 29, has a reputation as a tenacious perimeter defender and opportunistic offensive threat. He's a career 37 percent shooter from beyond the 3-point line, and averaged a career-high 9.3 points last season.
Evans played the best game of his NBA career against the Hawks in April. He scored a career-high 27 points in a 121-105 win over the Hawks on April 15 at Philips Arena.
Since the start of the 2001-02 season, Evans has logged time with Minnesota, Sacramento, Detroit, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Magic, his longest stint with one team being the 2006-07 season with the Lakers and the seven games he played last season before being traded.
The Lakers traded Evans and Brian Cook to the Magic last November for Trevor Ariza.
The Warriors have moved quickly to prevent Andris Biedrins from considering interest from teams in Europe by reaching terms on a new deal with the restricted free agent.
League sources told ESPN.com that Biedrins was en route to Oakland on Sunday night, after agreeing to a new six-year deal with the Warriors worth nearly $63M. The contract will likely be signed Monday and include a player option for Biedrins to return to the free-agent market in the summer of 2013 after completing five seasons.
Brown's agent, Mark Bartlestein, told ESPN.com on Monday night that the former No. 1 pick in the 2001 draft has reached a verbal agreement on a new contract with the Detroit Pistons.
The contract is believed to be a two-year deal worth $8 million, with Brown -- who spent his first four seasons as a pro in Washington after being drafted by then-Wizards president Michael Jordan -- holding a player option to return to free agency after this season.
Brown earned nearly $9.1 million last season in the final year of his previous three-year deal, which the 26-year-old received in the summer of 2005 in a sign-and-trade from Washington to the Los Angeles Lakers. Brown's expiring salary was the chief chip that the Lakers used to convince the Memphis Grizzlies to send Pau Gasol to L.A. on Feb. 1 in a trade that earned the Grizzlies widespread criticism.
Brown played in only 15 games with the Grizzlies after the trade, averaging just 3.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in under 14 minutes per game.
Seems like I am talking to myself in this thread, but anyway, I'll keep posting as the signings happen.
Kwame Brown is headed back to the Eastern Conference.
GSW have resigned Andris Biedrins....
Is $4MIL good value for Kwame? I'm struggling to see the value...Though Detroit do need a big man I guess.
Well its less than half of what he was getting last season. I know the Hawks were interested, but the most they could offer was about $3 million, which is all they had left of the MLE. Perhaps there was a small bidding war, with Detroit having to offer more than the Hawks to secure him.
I'd count myself lucky if I'm the Hawks that I didn;t have more than $3Mil to offer in case I did something stupid! 9 was indeed ridiculous, but then there was no way he was getting anywhere near that this season. He's lucky to still be NBA bound.
LOS ANGELES -- The Clippers continued their offseason makeover Monday, signing veteran swingman Ricky Davis to a multiyear contract.
Sources told ESPN.com's Chad Ford that the deal was for two years, $4.7 million with an opt out clause for Davis after his first year.
The New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations Donnie Walsh announced today that a 2010 second-round draft choice, guard Taurean Green and guard/forward Bobby Jones have been acquired from Denver for forward Renaldo Balkman and cash considerations.
The draft pick will be the more favorable selection between the Nuggets and Clippers, resulting from a previous trade.
Balkman, 6-8, 208-pounds, averaged 3.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 65 games for New York last season. Originally drafted by the Knicks after his junior season at the University of South Carolina in the first round (20th overall) of the 2006 NBA Draft, the Staten Island-native finishes his career in blue and orange having played in 133 career games, averaging 4.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 15.2 minutes over two seasons.
Biedrins was a decent re-signing, $10M a year for 6 years. If he produces well for them in the next 3-4 years, they've gotten their money's worth.
Big Men (decent) are harder to come by these days.
How about them Clippers...
Davis wasn't THAT great, but he did provide some scoring punch for Miami. Wonder what's next in store for Miami.....
Renaldo Balkman traded to Denver for Taurean Green, Bobby Jones and a 2010 2nd rounder....
NBA.com EMAIL said:No. 1 pick Kwame Brown still has loads of potential. The 7-year veteran is averaging 12.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals per 48 minutes. Can he finally meet his expectations?
A young frontcourt player to help fill the Camby void, nice move. He'll get more opportunity in Denver.
Like the move for New York too as it brings in some youth (yes, New York trading for youth!) in a young guard to ease out Marbury and a good scoring forward in Jones.
