Beau Champion is retiring.

Both King & Moss are 2nd Tier signings - different cap.

I still believe that Reece Robinson will be resigned as part of our top 25. I believe that there are ongoing issues with the Hoppa contract that will delay any top 25 signings until it is sorted.

Luke Kelly was also a 2nd Tier signing.
 
RR has been solid, very skilful player, was disappointed that Canberra let him go.

Apparently Sisa WAQA has requested a release at seasons end to play in French Rugby on a big money deal.

Mark Nicholls (played a few FG games off the bench) is off to Melbourne also.
 
What are the thoughts on the Manly match winner yesterday?

I was aware of the rule but didn't notice Stewart offside until it was mentioned. Despite my obvious bias I don't think Stewart gets into position to support DCE if he was onside and behind the ruck.

Irrespective Canberra need to learn to close out tight games, Sezer will be excellent for them next year.

Didn't notice, I thought they were question the last pass being forward but it was fine, will need to dig up footage, wanted your boys to win to give the Red V more of a chance of limping into the semi's.

The rule is that is an attacking player is in front of the ruck when the ball is played then they cannot be involved in that play or be run onside. Stewart is a terrific support player, one of the best but he did seem to get inside DCE very quickly!!

it has just been one of those seasons. Canberra have been in every game except the Roosters in round 3 or 4 and maybe the Warriors although they only trailed by 6 at halftime.

I think they have lost about 6 or 7 games by less than 6 points, young team and hopefully this builds character for 2016.
 
Apparently the offside player can put himself back onside if he retreats behind the player who played the ball - but in this case Stewart didn't retreat far enough so it was the wrong call.

Apparently Pomeroy had just come back from a send off/suspension. Fortunately Gibson is ok.
