The USA is full of scammers. Well to be fair there is probably 5,000,000 sports card collectors there, got to be a few bad eggs, and with how gullible some of the US guys are, makes it easy for predators. I myself have been taken for $1500 on a deal, but lucky enough it was a black/white scam and I paid paypal goods. The seller didnt send anything so had no tracking or anything and they basically just ran away and paypal got the money back for me.
Aussie based scammers wont last long because the community is so tight and we look out for each other.
The OZCT admin are extremely efficient at protecting the integrity of their site and the members here from this type of activity.
However, there is always that danger when someone with 100 positive feedback thinks, stuff the hobby, I'm over it, give me one big massive scam payday and I'm out.
Be vigilant. Pay goods so your covered in Paypal.
If the deal sounds too good to be true. 99% of the time IT IS!
Listen to your gut instinct. (bullshit detector)
If you are second guessing a deal. Ask an admin here or long-time trusted member for a second opinion or to co-witness the deal.
