Karl Malone auto and patch.

Looks like another Fleer Auctions fake.

Firstly for those who know KM......he doesn't have many autos and I am sure this was one that "was" to be produced but never went past the "redemption card".

Even so, look at the card.....not numbered and Auto doesn't look authentic.

Firstly they were not released....or else this is the only one that has ever made the market.

According the Beckett, there were 5 variations of the card:

2004-05 E-XL Court Authentics Signatures Logos #KM Karl Malone

Jersey numbered to 70
Jersey/Warm-up numbered to 30
Logos numbered to 1
Patches not numbered
Tags numbered to 5

The one listed in the auction was the tag version so should be numbered to 5.

They are listed in Beckett, but this does not mean they were ever produced. It just means they were listed in the checklist provided by the Skybox/Fleer. And because they are now defunct, these checklists will probably never be confirmed.

Even UD (such as Exquisite) has incorrect checklists on Beckett.

That is so disappointing, this guy might make a fair amount of money for one card on his forgery

The E-XL Court Authentics Signatures Patches are #/ed to there jersey number.

Also,All the E-xl auto's were sticker auto's,So if thats on card it's definitly fake,Also not being #/ed to 5 in this case is a dead set fake.

You would think that e-bay would do something about listings like that,It's fraud.
