Perth Glory officially celebrates its 15 year anniversary this Saturday 12th November against Sydney FC at 7pm. Our first ever home game was against Sydney Olympic on November 3rd 1996 and ironically enough a young Brett Emerton was also in the opposition line-up way back then....
I bet that makes him feel old :p
Anyway here's the front and back page from the first Perth Glory programme with the old line-ups.

Goal difference in bold kind of tells the story after 5 rounds compared to the rest of the comp...lol

  • Cant believe the Jets are second. We brought Bridges out of retirement today. WTF is that about........

It seems as though Jets will be aiming for an all English attacked with Bridges and Jeffers!

Brisbane's unbeaten run is over. So happy it was the Sky Blues that finally beat them.

Hasn't been too much discussion for a while guys!!

Sydney go down to Wellington 3-2 after a comeback that almost got them across the line, or so i have heard.
According to what i've read, that means Sydney are knocked out and Wellington is through to play the winner of the Glory v Heart game. The Roar v Mariners fixture consists of 2 legs..

Congratulations to Brisbane Roar, back to back A-League titles! I hope Ange makes his way to Melb Victory

i dont think it was even a drive. he had a complete airswing at the ball and the ref completely got it wrong. if anything the ref is more at fault than berisha.

and i must say was great to watch dean heffernan back at his best and brutal as ever, wish he never left the mariners.
