1X hobby of 2022 Bowman

Take some money off the table mate.

Hopefully the Gold turns up. Thankfully that hasn't happened to me before but I've also had a few anxious ones. In fact I sort of have one now come to think of it. It's a soccer card that sold 30% below it's nearest comp and 50%-70% below most comps. It's in transit so should be good.

This bloke sold a 16k Shohei RC so i am hoping its ok. Could just be slow poster.

Going to have to find something to do with my time now that RV autos are probably out of my price range ;)

Find a new prospect
 
I think I just missed one. Same product but nowhere near as a good a buy as RV imo. Diego Velasquez. His Bowman base autos were $5 not long ago on comc and when I looked two days ago there was only one avalaible at $15. I offered $13. Didn't get it and it and looks like someone else did and now it's $26. These prices are not a good indicator of course because the supply isn't there but this guy is having a good season.

He does turn 20 in October and that makes him 1.4 years older than RV. If you can get his base autos at $10 or less on ebay with SMC I'd do it. Even though he turns 20 this October he will be 20 for all of next season.

He's priced about double old Rossie! Not too outrageous. Might grab one when i get paid :)

And with that double today, my Rosman Verdugo prospect purchase spree is over.

I am now getting outbid for items i was winning easy. Every time of auto is now going double of what I was paying. Not sure I will be able to keep up.

I despise field errors and fielders choices.

His average is about .25 lower due to the amount of field errors and fielders choices he forces. I hate it

How bad is the Cherry MLB stock currently? I haven't see it this depleted since I started purchasing from them in April last year. They have not had new wax for sale since 2022 Bowman Draft(which some clever folks look to have snaffled up recently).

I would've thought Australia's largest hobby store could get their hands on more than just a case or two for breaks. Also, last night I noticed they had for sale jumbos of Topps 2020 Update, which is the worst product in the last 6 years and has zero rookies to chase ,and jumbos of 2021 Topps Series 1 which is only marginally better. However, neither are listed today. I refuse to believe anyone bought that stuff which would be expensive at half the cost.

What's going on man? Looks like I'm going back to Steel City and BO. Wish I'd bought the 2022 Bowman Draft when I had the cash. If it weren't for Ohtani, Holliday would be front and center. Did you grab the last of it?

Anyway, it's pretty grim and I'm genuinely surprised that Topps( Fanatics) has done this.

They're breaking new stuff but selling old junk.

I am going to buy a case of Pro Debut i think. 800us. My favourite.

I might also buy some Jumbo Chrome 2021 for shits and gigs
 
Shit, i just saw all that new stuff (2021) gone again.

Maybe they're going to just break it. The breaks have been piss poor and i am happy because i haven't bought into any breaks in ages.

Still waiting a month for breaks to be delivered though so its not all good news
 
Good value. Pro Debut and Heritage minor are probably the best value products from a ripping perspective. I think I'm doing the same. I'm buying buy the case and sitting on it. Then rip in two years from now. I bought a case of 2021-22 UD hockey early this year and to my amazement haven't touched it. I did break a mountain of it so there's that but I think it will be fun in to years time to break a box every two or three weeks at $100 a box can't really go wrong.

Back to baseball I actually favour Heritage minor as they have on card autos plus some weird stuff like the Flip Stock and other variants. Topps Pro debut have the nicer base cards but sticker autos not the best. Anyway, sounds like a good idea. Where will you get it from?
