2015 Select Honours 2

I'm a bit underwhelmed with this series, was planning to get back into AFL and NRL this year, but think ill just stick with the NRL for the time being.

I just don't get the thought process behind releasing multiple subsets in the same series with the same players based on the same concept, being the brownlow, they did it with the 2008 NRL Centenary set, and I thought they had learnt from that, but it appears they haven't, the set is obviously larger than the 7 immortals were, but its still what 6 subsets that are on the brownlow.

I mean change it up a little, put some hall of fame inserts, or club champions (win 5 or more best & fairest at a club) something like that because using the same subset of players just doesn't make sense to me.

Select will be uploading a video of a box break with some guy and jake stringer in coming days so we should get to see what they look like

Agreed, expecially when it leaves teams out to...

Agree, who wants 1000 variations of brownlow winners in honours 1 and 2?
I want best and fairest signatures, rising star nominee cards 1 per box, something different, just for once!

Yeah, it is.

I'm sorry to all of you that have to stare at my ugly mug next to "The Package" but it was a great box break and hopefully you all like the cards.

On a side note Jake is a top bloke and the Doggies are lucky to have him. =D>
I trust your appearance fee didn't come cheap, young fella! :) If you are looking for a manager then I'm happy to help!

You can have 50 percent of my fee which would be nothing so consider yourself hired Matt.

I did it for "the love of the hobby"

In all seriousness it was a bit of fun and when Select asked if i would be involved i said yes.

They really seem keen to interact with the hobby as we are seeing recently with their facebook page and the survey.

They appreciated everyone taking their time to fill out the survey and if you haven't done so yet, please try and find the time to do so.

Personally i can't wait to see what Select have in store for the future. :)

Only 1 Hawks certified signature? Would have loved a Liam Shiels sig aswell as he could be a future captain. Miss out again on a Hodge medal winner sig. As I only collect Hawks I will just buy the numbered Hawks cards off ebay. But atleast it appears like this release is better than the last, just not a lot for me.
You did get Jack Gunston and Luke Breust Signature cards from the Premiership Redemptions. I don't think hawthorn supporters have been hard done by.

In one box i will get

1 star signature numbered to 400
2 Brownlow distinctions numbered to 200
4 brownlow sketchs
12 brownlow gallery
4 all australians
One medal card.

two thirds of the box have inserts.

One in every two boxes is inserted a master numbered to 300
One in every 8 boxes is inserted an honour roll call numbered to 75
One in every 8 boxes is inserted a brownlow signature numbered to 200.
One in 16 boxes is inserted an premiership redemption.

13 out of 16 boxes per case will have an extra hit.

Did I see that correct, that you got a master and a premiership redemption? 2 of the non-"per box" hits, so I am thinking the quote from a few pages back it not quite correct, if they didn't stagger the 2 per case and 1 per case inserts into the boxes that dont have a master in it, its possible cases will have 8 out of 16 without an "extra hit" and 5 of the other 8 will have 2 "extra hits" - happy to be corrected.

As for the look of the cards, I actually really like the look of them. It almost made me consider pickup a few boxes, but I think ill wait for the time being. Although the odds sound like they will be hard/great on box buyers
