Time to shut down this thread bulls are on vacation!!!

Philly got lucky with Noah and Rose out! No way that series even goes to 6 if we had a full squad, so keep gloating, your going to get destroyed by Boston!!!

I would love to be humble and say Philly played well, but really, they didn't, they won by a point today with the Bulls missing their 2 biggest pieces, they also had to have OT to get another game.... Oh well, thems the breaks, injuries and some players going missing when they needed to stand up the most hurts bad.

No question the Bulls were, again, the best team all season! We got the best record with Rose missing 27 games and Rip missing a lot of the season too! Injuries killed this season, simple as that.... I still feel we should have knocked Philly off, but I guess they took the opportunity with their full squad to take out a deflated and depleted Bulls team.

Next season....... I would love to see DH12 wearing Chicago colors, but only if we gave up no more the Boozer, Noah and Trash... Even without Howard, as long as we can stay healthy and confident then we will play Finals next year or at the very least go 7 games in the ECF. If we get Howard maybe look at Trying to get Nash for minimal aswell and have him starting at the PG with Rose at SG, alternating both of them, and having Watson and Rip as backups.
I dont know really, I don't think we need to change much, we would have taken Philly in 5 at the most if we were full strength and would have been taking Miami to the death after dealing with Boston.

Do we really need to change THAT much personal wise? Another "what if" is how long will Rose be out for total? We might not see him until nearing the end of next season!!

As for shutting down the thread, we'll be pushing for Finals for years too come, Philly will be fighting for a simple Playoff spot for the next 5 years if they are lucky!

Have:

Watson, Rip, Brewer/Korver, (Vet to Backup Taj) Asik

Would be a pretty deep Roster!!!

Take Brand and Turner, or Iggy and Williams out of Philly and you'd be punching it out with Bobcats, Sacremento and the rest of them down there. You got the Bulls at the perfect time for you, Fully fit and with the 2 heart and soul players of Chicago, not to mention one of them was reigning MVP out, Bulls with Rose and Noah fully fit would have been a sweep... It's as simple as that, your FG % and other stats show that!!

Sorry, but Boston will wipe the floor with Philly... it'll be 4 - 1 AT BEST!

Take Brand and Turner, or Iggy and Williams out of Philly and you'd be punching it out with Bobcats, Sacremento and the rest of them down there. Philly won the season matchup but playoffs is totally different. May not be a sweep, Pierce is injured and Ray is still off target, could be a tough series! Anyway, enough of this, Bulls fans don't want this in their thread! Lol. Good season Bulls considering everything!

Philly have a good young core, with Brand and Williams in there too, but were probably the 2nd most inconsistent team to make the playoffs behind NYK! Bulls were consistent all season but once Noah went down that was just huge emotionally and out there on the floor, it was almost a "What's next?" scenario!

Oh well, will have number 7 before Philly win it! LOL I guess I'll have to take that as consolation!

Don't forget Deng was playing with injury. I am surpirsed how much heart he showed today in geting a double. If there is restructure and trade, I hope they keep him.

Boozer and Korver sucked again these playoffs.

I still like korver as he can drop them 3 pointers, but I question will he shine all season and dry up again next playoffs?

What I fear is the east are going to play themselves ragged again and then one of the west sides will be rested and ready to kick ass. Always happens haha.

Good luck against Boston, just think Turner and Iggy are your only real bright lights but all it takes is one or two pieces and you have as good tilt at championship glory.

Just annoyed with my Bulls injury run. Hope the ACL doesn't affect the explosiveness of Rose too much when he returns sadly like Ian said won't be til the latter part of next season.

There was some study of athletes done after ACL injury. I read it a while ago when Rose got injured they showed some stats (can't remember where)

it was something like
60% played the same
30% played slightly worst
10% played better

hopefully he falls in the last category. fingers crossed.

Yer I hope he plays better as well!! But with his type of game, heaps of jumping floaters in the lane, athletic lay-ups and drives to the lane, I don't think he will play better
