A week away from Kick off !!! That would be right.
Now NRL will make Examples of anyone involved.
Not to mention they will cop a thick ear from Fat Albert.
After all the media Attention over the past few months about Drunken Assaults ..... You think they would know Better.

they are only human

Considering how much education they get regarding these types of situations, considering the previous incidents that have happened in the NRL, considering the new laws that have been introduced regarding "king hits" etc
You would assume these Humans would get it by now....

I heard a bloke talking about something from 2004, and he was saying, back then we didn't know what we doing/the world has changed blah blah blah.

2004!!!

The world has changed but not that much.

Not good to take drugs (and it's not like performance enhancing drug busts haven't been going since the EIGHTIES FFS!!!), not good to punch people's lights out, not good to be a turd. And they've been educating sporties for almost 20 years for this stuff - with or without the social media side of things.

Nope, some of these players are as dumb as dog shit and really let down their teams, coaches, families, friends, clubs and their fans.

Canberra have named a 20 man squad for round 1. Shillington & TLL injured, Wighton to start at 6, Campo at 7 (biggest halfback ever??), Allwood to debut in centres and Boyd in front row. Very new look side with multiple position changes, very excited about Wighton as he is a brutal defender, good attacker however his ball okay needs dome work but I think he will very much be a running 5/8.

That is what Fergo's lawyer told the media after he was sentenced. He basically blamed the NRL for everything FERGO had done wrong. This is issue isn't just limited to professional sport, no one takes responsibility for their own actions, it is always someone else's fault.
