Curious to settle an argument - what is more valuable? A limited edition card where the card is stamped with the actual number, i.e. "212 of 250", or a sample where the number is just "0000"?

i would say stamped with actual number. There's some old E-X2000 cards for baseball and basketball that the preview/sample cards are worth next to nothing and then the Credentials /250 are worth big $.

Do some of you use a general rule of thumb for marking up cards for the Australian market vs their USA prices?

I.e

+ Exchange rate (obviously)
+ shipping & handling to get them out here
+ Scarcity in the Aus market

etc?

Like 15% above the $AUD exchange value?

Going by similar cards sold, i'd say you're looking at around $200usd.

Looking for a valuation of the 1985 Star Rookie of the Year set, all ungraded apart from the Michael Jordan below.
I can find comparisons on ebay however not really sure (or understand) if TCG and other Australian graders stack up the same vs PSA others

A BCCG 10 sold a few weeks ago, for $128.50 USD, but a PSA 10 sold for $820 recently…

The Max Holloway My House /49 seems to fetch $9 to $10. A Max Holloway PSA10 Octagonside /5 wernt fror $182 and a PSA 9 Holloway Green Disco /5 went for $207.

An ungraded Jon Jones My House green /5 went for $119.

I'm not a big UFC guy but for any shorter print run card you more or less have to base your pricing off of what comparisons you can draw from similar fighters or cards.
