what i am worried about is.... some dude was wearing #109 on the back of his jersey ?!?!?!?!?!?!

that is the first time in professional sport I have seen 3 digits on the back of a jersey.....

is there a rational reasoning for it ??????

well.. there is a policy of spoilers on this forum... but 2nite's game.... the spolier will be less painful than watching the game...

we lost 1-0... to the 125th team in the world....

A-League needs another 5 years before the standard is good enough to beat the bottom sides of Asia.... no excuses this time we played in South-East Asia where we are not used to the weather etc....

we lost in Canberra !!!!!

Maybe that was the 109th best combination we could've put out there? It certainly looked like it! Looks like Verbeek was right about the standard of the A-League, we just don't like to hear it... I can see us having plenty of time to recover from this and still qualify, but this shows we do need our Euro-based players.
