Been a tad AWOL, how's everyone doing with their Dex?!

Everyone catching Ditto? I'm up to 13 now. Refusing to transfer them at this stage, unsure if he'll have anything later.
New tracking feature is kinda cool, and I think just recently other Mon's started appearing nearby when NOT near the Pokestops, which is great!

Sitting in the office just now, and can see Pikachu is nearby, but I can't get out, lol. Hopefully my GPS goes on a spaz, and I "run" over there.

Just need Lapras and Chansey to complete my Dex.

A work colleague has just returned from USA and has like 10 or so Tauros. Let's hope we can do trading soon!!!

Level 29 and still need Lapras and Aerodactyl.
Saving up all my 10km eggs for a big 9 egg blitz. Up to 6 so far ...
Only caught the 2 x Dittos thus far and yes, please do hang on to all the Dittos you get. They will be used for breeding !!!
Very strong rumours of Gen 2 before Christmas, there is a leaked document from Starbucks saying Gen 2 will be here on the 8th of December.
No word on Trading yet, which I am really looking forward too.
 
I've caught no ditto yet only have caught 110 seen 119 ,I'm still looking lol

Finally got 2 ten k eggs after a heap of 5 k ones hatched both and got the same Onix both times
 
still no ditto for me either, havent really played though. did a little bit during double xp and havent touched it again since. need gen 2 to spike interest for me again.
 
Heard from fellow hunters that Pokestops netting eggs, will grant the same egg/contents for different people.
ie, say I got a 10km egg with Snorlax in it, you would too.

I'm fortunate in that where I live there's a crap tonne of Pidgey's & Rattata's, so I've managed to grab a few Dittos' so far. Got another last night on the way home, 217CP.
My highest is a 410CP. They've all got crap IVs, not sure if that'll mean anything later!?

What's the breeding that's coming?

Currently sitting on Level 28, and am working my way towards 40 pidgey's (all over 200CP - the rest I'm transferring), for a Double XP event (assuming/hoping one comes near Christmas).

I did see they announced that bulk transferring will be an option soon. Not exactly awesome, or highly anticipated... But hopefully it's a smoke screen announcement, to take us off the scent of Gen 2?!?!?!

Pokémon GO updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.49.1 for Android and 1.19.1 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.

  • Trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokémon at a time to Professor Willow. To use this function, press and hold on a Pokémon.

  • Pokémon type icons have been added to the Gym battle approach and Gym battle screen.

  • The total Candy count for your Buddy Pokémon has been added to the buddy information screen.

  • The total kilometers a buddy has walked has been added to the information screen of each Pokémon that has ever been your buddy.

  • Minor text fixes.

Read this too, unsure what it actually means, especially if those without "Sprint" or "Radioshack" stores (ie, most/all of Oz).

I head ya on this one, the amount of Pidgey's and Rattata's I've caught since Ditto was announced, needless to say, my pokeball stock is pretty depleted.

Well the latest I have heard is .... Whoever it was at Starbucks that leaked the email has cost us the release of Gen 2 for now!
Niantic decided to put it on hold when the info was released/leaked. December 12 th will let us know when it is gonna happen, maybe?!
 
Well the 12/12 Press release from Niantic was extremely underwhelming :thumbsdown:
No Gen 2 release, although they have released, we think, 6 baby pokemon which can only be hatched.
Pichu, Togepi, Igglybuff etc. They hatch from the same eggs as their adult counterparts.
And Pikachu can be caught in the wild with a Santa hat on ... that was the big release :crazy:

woke up to a snorlax in my driveway, unbelievable scenes. so since the latest spawn switches i now have two spawn spots accessible from inside my house and couldnt believe it when i opened the app this morning to get my daily catch bonus and its a snorlax...

have caught 4 dittos while christmas shopping now.

and also hatched igglybuff this morning, first 2nd gen pokemon. stoked with that

They have upped all the spawn rates significantly, particularly when you first open your app, wherever you may be.
Got my first Gen 2 yesterday, Elekid from a 10 km egg.
Still waiting to see what the Christmas event is going to be.
 
if you follow the silph road on reddit, theres a few interesting theories from people who have pulled apart the code from the apk files. something around gifts is all we know so far, several images for present boxes bronze silver gold and 2 other types as well.

Been following it religiously for months, Silph road is the premium resource for Pokemon.
