The New Orleans Hornets Thread for 2009-10

I couldnt see that any one had started a thread for the Hornets this year so being a big Hornets fan I thought I would start one up for anyone to post up the latest news or just general chat about the Hornets.

The Hornets are playing Orlando magic today

It will be interesting to see how they go with the new look team

Will be a very interesting season this time around. Lots of player personnel changes, hopefully they can gel well because on paper we're definitely alot deeper than last season. Go Hornets! Still to see Oka and Ike.

Yeah mate just a pre-season game so no biggy.
Cant wait to see CP3 dishing it to okafor for the slam!

the Hornets improved to 2-4 in the preseason, beating the Indiana Pacers 108-96. Chris Paul led the team with 21 points and 11 assists while rookie Marcus Thornton tallied 19 points and seven rebounds in the win

The Hornets closed out their preseason with a 88-91 loss to the Clippers, finishing at 2-6. Peja Stojakovic led the team with 19 points while David West tallied 18 points and 7 rebounds in the loss. Lets hope for a better start to the season

He isn't distributing as much this year, but his scoring is off the charts! 65% from the field and 80% from downtown. This tear can't keep up but damn! Just need the W's to start racking up now.

I agree, certainly not as many assists this year so far but he has to do most of the scoring now. Hopefully Okafor can bring his game more consistantly

I wanna see JuJu develop more consistency. Also could use Marcus Thorntons scoring off the bench... and IKE!

Maybe if like Boston or the lakers we need to pick up 4 more superstars to jam pack the team with stars then they can win a ring ( for cp3 ) like Boston and Lakers

Is it not what the other teams do to win Rings trade and buy all the stars ????


Also what is going on with Ike ??? And Marcus Thornton What is the go there ?? When will he get a start? he has to be better than petterson.

Is that you Rondo?? Nah can't be, he wouldn't be smart enough to know how to spell!

CP3 has made David West an All Star, made Tyson Chandler into a legitimate centre (see how well he's going in Charlotte....). Pair CP3 with any 2 other legitimate stars and he would win a ring without even breaking a sweat. Problem with the Hornets is the Front Office unfortunately.
