1) When did you start collecting?
Started collecting VFL/AFL stickers about 1990, football and basketball cards in 1993. Had a break about 1996 until about 2007

2) Who do you collect?
Initially Adelaide Crows stickers in 1991, as they were the 'new' team, which led me to support them. Collected Karl Malone in the 90's, and my younger brother collected Stockton, which was cool. Now days, George Best, and whatever catches my attention.

3) What do you love about Ozcards?
The likeminded folk. Don't get that 'you collect cards?' smirk that I get from those outside of the hobby.

In 1989/1990, when my uncle showed me this brash arrogant player on the 76er's who was shorter then most, but his size and relentlessness made him into one of the great power forwards of all time, the man was Sir Charles

I love the people here. You post that you're after a rare card and someone will know someone that has it, or the link on eBay

OCT caters for all card collectors, not just Sport, a collector can discuss all their passions, say NRL, Gaming and Star Wars in one place, opening doors to other like minded collectors in the one spot, an example of this is I enjoy Big Bang Theory, and through OCT I have my name down for 2 boxes of BBT cards, I would never have thought there was Big Bang Theory cards without this site.

Im mainly a set builder (both base and inserts) but I also collect Eddie house, dwyane wade, landry fields, and I'm on again of again with courtney lee and Penny hardaway.



What I love a out OCT is it helped me find my passion for collecting that I though I lost all those years ago. If safe to say I definitely would not have got back into this hobby again if it wasn't for OCT.

As a 5 year old kid back in England collecting Topps Football cards, at that stage I was more interested in the gum than the cards!!! if only I knew

Now collecting MLB, NFL, Some NRL and A-League

Dealing with like minded people and helping out other collectors, and being helped finishing a few sets off

Collected in the 90's, probably around 93-94 until about 98. Then restarted thanks to Ebay, then in a big way because of OCT in 2008.

Julius Hodge (Due to his stint with the 36ers!)
Jason Thompson (Due to NBA 2K11! and following him from ten on in!)
Michael Jordan (Always have and Always will!!!)

3) What do you love about Ozcards?

Whats not too love?!?!? The close community feeling that the place gives off, the wide range of sporting and non sporting interests that are shared, talked about and debated! The amount of Aussie collectors that gather in the one place! the awesome competitions we get to participate in! The information that is gathered and shared about ANYTHING hobby related! And the fact that you can find everything in the one place!.If it wasn't for OCT then trading/selling with in Aus would be next to nothing and ebay would be relied on very heavily!
