Just picked up some better stoppers for the Calais this morning

350mm fronts and 332mm rears with 4 piston calipers all round

Thought I would post up my lil toy. Its a Datto 1200 ute, A14 with twin webers at the moment. I have a CA18det that I am rebuilding at the moment for it. Cars are so much fun.

I have a sileighty good fun and very responsive and unlike a v8 is amazing on fuel

Gotta love the torque steer in the MPS, quick little cars though.

The new 8's aren't too bad on fuel, they are no 4 banger though

I could probably get 600 k's to a tank if I didn't hit boost, but I don't think I'll ever find out got 13.9 at kwinana with a slipping clutch and shocking tyres so I'm keen to go again now that I have a new exedy brass button and new tyres

I get 550- 600km a tank out of my tuned VE SS Wagon!

That wasn't the argument.... it was the v8 factor.... I have mates with work s15's et etc that use the same amount as full as mine... One mate makes about the same power as me, maybe a tad more and he uses 2 tanks too my one for everyday driving!

Are we discussing fuel consumption or how many trips to te servo? Either way you will win because the person who tuned my car was hopeless! In definately need of re-tuning! How much power does yours have??
