heroes season 1 Recap

saw justin today and picked up a box of heroes season 1. Was really impressed with it. My hit was my first one of one the other half opened the pack with it. It is a sketch card of Hiro and Ando the sig on it is cal07 anyone have any idea how much one of these can go for?

Will post doubles and any cards im chasing for the set once i go through them

You got a really sweet Cat Staggs sketch there. Think he did in the range of 100-150 sketches for the set.

His sketches usually sell for $150 - $300

One of the top $ artists along with Sean Pence, Tim Sale (Did the artwork in the series), Jeremy Treece etc etc

great box then i almost got the whole base set just missing number 13 and the foils #1 & 10 so if anyone has these and needs other cards i have heaps of doubles

Cat gets a good price also because he is limited and does some awesome work.

a bit rich for her regular swatches, would have to be for the patch variant, some went for around that price and up to the $300 mark.

guess NSU use an average to work out the price


would love to get my hands on a tim sale sketch, loved his artwork in the tv series. His sketches were pretty decent in the set, his artist returns though were stunning. Value in there only being 56 of them.

I've learned to never go by any prices listed in NSU and only go by looking at final selling prices on ebay. Not sure on Heroes prices, but for Benchwarmer they are way off and don't even take the time to do any research. So the majority of the other set probably get the shaft after a first posting.

there was a known problem with series 2 where the boxes werent producing the hits they promised

a few ozcards members sent away to topps (they bought cases) and were compensated with being sent individual cards

There were issues with boxes not having the guranteed hit. The problem after that is the autographs they are using as those replacements are the ones you can get for 20.00 or less.
