Greatest "White Guy" to ever play NBA

saying Larry Bird wasnt that great is as big a mistake as telling Chuck Norris that roundhouse kicks arent the best way to kick something.

also i picked up the larry bird dvd at target for $10.

I think Magic said it the best:

"There will be another Michael Jordan(Blasphemous I know...), but there will never be another Larry Bird."

Pistol Pete Tads a close second for me.

top 10 for me:

2. Stockton
3. West
4. Nash
5. Cousy
6. Barry
7. Havlicek
8. Mikan
9. Maravich
10. Pettit

Forgot to mention. Best White Guy to pattern your low-post moves is my all time post player... KEVIN McHALE!!! Better known to his teammates ironically as the black hole!!!

Larry Bird hands down....they said he couldnt run or jump, but he did fantastic...name another white player that would be in the same sentence as MJ and Magic??...no one

i can't believe no one mentioned mark price here. he was doing cp3 moves 90s style! haha

for sure man, i love mark price. he was sooo underrated. the main reason cleveland were a constant eastern conference contender come playoff time during the late 80's/early 90's (pity the bulls would woop them every time but). that was a great video, just watching him shoot at the 3pt competition is hypnotising, just poetry in motion...ive always loved pure shooters like that.

Bird isn't even the best white player for the Celtics so how he wins the best white player of all time is beyond me. Larry's legend grows more and more the longer its been since he retires LOL He will be the best player of all time one day the way we are going.

might wanna back up such a bold statement with some form of arguement maybe? sure hondo might have finished his career with better stats or whatever, but in all the time ive watched bball, ive only seen 2 players with such an aura of complete confidence in themselves, and an iron will to succeed: MJ and Bird. they are the only 2 players who you would want the ball in their hands to take that final shot of the game with the scores tied, and be absolutely confident they are gonna make it. they had the same level of heart and will, its just that MJ had the athleticism and the good fortune to go throughout the majority of his career unhampered by injury.
