..........................................i just wish all the baggers would just pull their heads in and just congratulate the team that has been the best team all year and "GET OVER IT" its just degrading this site and the good people that use it.
you have an opinion fine say it with some level of maturity please
Thats a reasonable response, but not sure we'd be hearing that if the Dragons had've gone down... You'd probably be blaming the Dogs for everything from anything negative football-related to blaming them for global warming... you know, your usual speel: "Bulldogs done this, Bulldogs done that, Bulldogs done something else!"I mean, just in this thread, there was an Eels fan, a Cowboys fan, a Roosters fan, a Dogs fan, and a Titans fan all saying the Roosters were a bit hard done by, and you single out the Dogs fan! Not sure what ur problem is with them, but I'd be more interested in my teams success than rubbing it in others fans faces, but thats just me...
This is a Grand Final thread, even though this forum is dominated by Dragons fans it doesnt mean other fans cant express their own opinions on the game. If some of you people are too touchy to read things that arent pro dragons maybe create a "Dragon Appreciation thread" where most other fans wont even bother to read it.
I used the Dogs as an example as i replied to your thread which mentioned the Dogs, its not a secret that the Dogs have had crowd problems, if you like Im happy to send you links, not to mention that the club was on probabtion for crowd violence, yes they have a ratbag following which goes to games to cause trouble as told by the CEO & Police... also Canterbury is the team i love to beat the most, 2 of my best mates are doggie supporters and we give it to each other... Just to top it off some of my replies have been tongue and cheek regarding the dogs in other threads... I have not rubbed anything in anyones face, all im doing is defending my team with the ridiculous statements made by people regarding choking, ref been paid by the dragons, Gasnier try re Morris been in touch, but everyone forgets that the 2nd Roosters try should never been scored either as Creagh had the ball stripped from him and instead of a penalty we get a scrum and the roosters score 3 or so plays later...
i was told by one of the sponsors of st george that most of the cash comes from the illawarra area.......
Unfortunatley you will find people form all walks of life who need to learn this simple lesson of respect. For me I don't care what team you follow or what sport you play the most important part of sport is loosing and winning graciously and if this is the only lesson my son learns from me, my job is done.
Just frustrating that the Tigers somehow gave away a scrum against the feed with 30 seconds left against the Roosters otherwise it should have been a Dragons-Tigers GF which IMO would have been a much better game.
as expected the dragons fans are just as bad winners as they are losers they would be nothing without the money and all the juniors from illawarra but good luck to them
For me it was disappointing, the 3rd Roosters Grand Final I have been to and all 3 times ive seen them lose. Maybe next time!
I was at the game and was barracking for the roosters, I am a knights fan myself but took my nephew along. He was wearing his jersey, cap scarf and flag with pride, he was upset that the roosters had lost but was dealing, then one of my worst experiences at a footbal game occured. A dragons supporter came up and knocked his hat off, threw his scarf on the ground and then broke my nephews flag over his knee. Then as I told him off he pushed me into a wall as I was holding my 3yr old son, who hit his head and cut his eye, to which the dragons supporter replied "just like a ***** roosters fan to bleed."
My son required 5 stitches to his. I cannot believe how stupid some people can be. To of physically abused a 3 year old child and then gloat about it. Absolutely horrific. I am not saying that all dragons fans are like this, I actually met a few nice ones at the game.
But it was one of the most dissapointing days I have had at the football.
