93-94 Hoops MAGIC/BIRD dual auto

I remember reading a thread a bout this card a while ago (can't seem to find it), about how fakes of this cards exists. Can anyone remeber how to spot the diff btwn whats real and what isn't? Here's one on ebay right now...

After bothering to look at the scans the Magic doesn't look as tight as it should and it looks like the Bird has been done VERY slowly. Can't make out the stamp and its not mentioned either.

And yes if the real ones have the stamp then obviously the fakes dont.

I'm not 100% sure but I think it should have a faint stamp similar to my Graded example below. Can anyone confirm this?

I think thats the stamp chad was speaking about, can't see one on the card listed.

I feel sorry for the poor bastard that is paying that much for a fake!

yea for sure, if i remember correctly the base magic/bird card was really common and worth nothing!

so the poor dude that bought that ebay card paid like 80 USD for a common card

Larry's signature looks quite similar to what I've seen else where, but Magic's looks a bit funky.

Yep, its the fake version.

Aside from it not having the stamp, I can say with 100% certainty that it is not Larry's auto on that card. It is far too curvy and the loops are too circular.

Whoever did the forgery did it quite well compared to other forgeries of Larry's auto that I have seen, but like I said strokes are too circular and its a bit too tall and stretched.

Can't make anything out it it tho, says it has the Hoops emblem in the middle, so that sounds doge, considering it's a FLEER product.... (I know Fleer is Hoops), but it's just a logo, and not the Fleer stamping.
