NZNRL Case Busts

:kick:

Don't know if I've got much to trade, but I can give you some money out of my wallet to ease the pain. :D

Well I'm glad someone is happy! I'll PM you later with first right of refusal!

Box 6 - Roosters Premieres 2002

I'm going to bust a box of 2014 Elite now for some light relief

First box of Elite (I'll scan the hits later)

Brett Stewart #83
WIL Red.

Nice start

I purposefully opened the case upside down to save the case card reveal for later

Cheers again for the well wishes

Box 7 & 8 Traders - Penrith 2003 and Broncos 2006 Premiers.

Boxes 9-10 Melbourne 1999 & Dragons 2010

$1720 RRP = Edrick Lee YG

2 to go before the good stuff

So yup... 1 case opened for 1 duplicate Young Gun.

Box 12 - 2004 Bulldogs Premiers

....

You got shafted mate. Let me guess, all the seals (case & 12x boxes) were broken?

From what can gather, ESP Australia opened cases, muddled up boxes in the process of repricing to $NZD, and repacked in no particular order.

Exact same thing happened to me a month back, 1x YG from a case. Next day Owen tells me he busted 3x Tuimavaves from 1x case!

Its bollocks. I think Card Central have coped plenty of earfuls from pissed off punters they now insist imported stock is now SEALED!

Yeah, I was aware that the cases were opened to be re-priced, Card Central informed me of that after I complained about missing a case card last time. I was given a guarantee that Elite would not be opened and it doesn't appear to be so.

I always look at case busts from the worst possible scenario as per odds. I was aware I was likely to make a loss on this case, but this packing issue has meant a $200 loss has turned into a $350 loss. With my wife on maternity leave that is a hard pill to swallow. Hence I'll open my Elite tomorrow when I'm feeling a bit cheerier.

I also opened a 2013 Traders case recently and finished with one Young Gun....the case also had a 2014 Traders Case card on top which makes it pretty obvious that it wasn't a case with it's original seal.
