silva might have made a small difference, but it still wouldve been an easy win i think.
at the 5th goal they showed some fans in the stands. one was in complete shock and the other was balling her eyes out and i actually felt sorry for brazil.
didnt last long. by the end i was annoyed we let in that goal...it almost seemed like the germans were giving them a chance at goal in the 2nd half.
ozil pretty much absent again. he just doesnt belong in this squad. which i never thought id say...
hoping for a dutch win today, but my money is on argentina...

World Cup? More like South America/Europe Cup to me. Argentina get through the group stage of the "World Cup" to face a European team, followed by a European team, followed by another European team, finishing with a European team! The knockout stages have been woeful enough without the vast majority of the World being unrepresented. There needs to be 8 European, 7-8 Asian, 1-0 Oceania, 8 African, 4 South American & 4 North American teams. Until FIFA do that it's a bit of a joke!

messi is the one thing im worried about. the dutch proved you can push him out of the game, but it only takes a second and one stroke of genius with a player like him.
im still hoping qatar gets changed, which is on the cards, but i dont think id boycott if it went ahead...

im almost 100% certain its decided before the final is played. pretty doss...
i actually think it should go to hummels, but im not sure a defender has ever won it?
messi is pretty amazing overall tho (not this tournament maybe). 2010 everyone had a go at him for not scoring, even tho he played well. now he scores 4 pretty sweet goals and gets to the final but its still not enough...

he has played well this tournament, im just over the hype that hes the best in the world and all that. bit like wally lewis was in the nrl all he had to do was show up to get man of the match.
as for hummels i kind of agree with you, although he didnt play the 2nd game did he? and he only played half the last game, i dont think thats enough game time to warrant it, just my opinion though, i hope rodriguez gets it.

that was intense...for a german anyway. good game. some great defending from both teams throughout. ozil finally turned up...
only downside is my multi bet for germany winning the cup and muller getting the golden boot was one goal short. wouldve made an absolute packet.
