The Official 2013-14 EPL Season Thread

about 10 minutes before kick off mate ahah. so no help for fantasy, its everyones best guess..
Oh really! That's not very helpful of them. That's what I wanted it for fantasy. Have played epl fantasy before and don't have as much knowledge on the lesser known players as I do with nrl so not sure if my "gambles" are going to play even. Cheers for the info though.

Just finished putting together my team. Hopefully they all play.

GK - Mignolet
D - Agger
D - Luiz
D - Evra
D - Mertesacker
M - Coutinho
M - Hazard
M - Downing
M - Paulinho
F - Van Persie
F - Crouch

I've got the following team but still changing it around

GK- Mignlet
D- Baines
D- Inanovic
D- Kaboul
M- Walcott
M- Coutunho
M- Hazard
M- Barkley
F- RVP
F- Bony
F- Van Wolfswinkel

Main concerns are Kaboul and Barkley. Not sure how they will be used if at all.

im not in an OCT league so ill post my team. my gambles are mirrallas and olsson, mirallas is good because hes listed as a midfielder but plays up the front, so will get an extra point for every goal and if they manage a clean sheet he gets an extra point.

olssons the same, plays LM but listed as a defender.

lukaku is my final gamble, but he wont make it to my team next week just for the dual gameweek pretty much.

i dont even know who barkley is but kaboul should get time at least until vertonghen comes back anyway.

Ross Barkley plays for Everton. The manager has big wraps on him and wants to use him as an attacking midfielder. Have heard he should see a lot of game time this year just not sure if it will be from round 1.

Do you know how long Vertonghen is out for?

vertonghen has an ankle injury that put him out of most of preseason but is 75% chance of making the trip and playing against palace this weekend. if he lines up this weekend ill put him in my team for ivanovic after gameweek 2 probably.

these line ups arent set and bet by all means, but i used them all last season and they get it right the majority of the time. and they dont mention him, but like i said it isnt set and bet, but they helped me alot last year.

Cheers. I will have a look through these for each team. They have Barkley in the frame if Gibson is out so at least it would appear he is in the mix.
