thats the race right now... i dont see ess winning another game all year except for against the blues.. but if thats not realistic then its carlton.. i dont see them doing too much against anyone but us.. and if not the hawks.. they're such a shit team.. unreal.. and ports pretty horrible too right now

No? I should pay more attention to the schedule. I'm so used to two games against Essendon.

Then I have lots of dancing to do for winning that only game against the Bombers, I don't care if we finish last now. Cos even under the new system, we have sucked three years running and would be looking at good draft picks (maybe) lol

But Essendon will win a couple of games.... they will pull an upset or two out of the bag.

Hmmm I'm not sure you will because I am 90% sure that the draft system is changed beginning this season... meaning form/wins over the previous three seasons are taken into account regarding allocation of priority picks.... and since Essendon manages to be competitive, they probably won't get any #1 picks based on that.

The changes was made to prevent teams tanking seasons after an indifferent start, to get priority.

I know its not gaurenteed to get a number 1 pick, but we'd have good chances of getting it..

We didn't make the finals last year
We barely made it in the year before
We aren't the same side from a few years back

Silly statement? whys that? Pride is all but gone.. Theres no chance of making finals, so why not tank it ala collingwood last year? I'm sure they'll win games, because clearly whatever I say, or whatever another fan says of any team thats not going to happen or change the mentality of the team or the coaching panel..
