Hey Guys/Girls,

As many of you in Perth may know we do not really have any card shows/festivals.

Although we are lucky local card shops (A1 and Whodat) have regular trades days but this just doesn't compare to events/shows in Melbourne and NSW.

So just thought that we should put up a thread and maybe get some ideas of people who would be interested having something at a Hall towards the end of the year.

Anybody that would be interested in perhaps having a stall/table could you please PM me so I can put your name/business down below.

Sellers/Stall Holders Interested:

A1CARDSANDGAMING
DROB50
CARLTON91
WHODAT
NATHANWINFACE

Cheers

At least most states have card shops that specialise in sports cards. ACT has one shop (dee's comics) that sells basketball, but in limited quantities - forget trade shows/meets!

Yeah I would be happy even if we just had 5 or so NBA sellers and say about 7-8 AFL sellers .

Unfortunately most of the card shops in Perth (apart from A1) can't be bothered organising a Collectors Fair......they have their little areas and regular customers and that is what they concentrate on!

A collectors Fair can be quite profitable for sellers (once word is out) but it may take a few regular shows to get the numbers you need to make it worthwhile.

Wish you all the best in organising this.....I know A1 has tried before so maybe if the two of you combine you will get it off the ground. I think one thing that would help is a Major Sponsor who provides some funds and gets advertising out of it ;)

Thanks for the advice Richo.....Hopefully we can get it up and running soon :)

Have been looking at venues to book for this event.

We have found that the Duncraig Community Centre would fit our requirements perfectly.

We are one step closer ladies and gentleman :)
