I still need todays Teal before the deadline... anyone got a spare?
I tried to get one from the fan feeds... but man people are greedy, you can offer them 2 cards that are both lower cc than the one that you are chasing but they still turn it down...

Don't like the new variants, pretty silly colors, red material and green gradient - aren't teal and real green enough?? Surely they could have come up with something a little more unique ? And don't like the new gold mechanic...looks like some golds will likely be a lot harder to get than others.
Kind of starting to find the app more of a chore than actual fun these days to be honest, and every time they release stuff like these variants just makes it worse..

meanwhile, people like me who cant afford to put real money into an app where you get nothing real out of it... are left sitting back asking the question..."What about me?"
Yeah, I won't be worrying about them too much, later when they have the 2 for 1 at half price I might I'll pick up a couple, but really not too fussed. It's annoying though because if you're collecting characters you'd like to have all the variations (even if they're ugly!) but it's getting that you can't without spending both money and a lot of time chasing!
And another problem is that they look too similar. If you have some of these new variants, you would have to lock them or someone could set up something that appears to be a red trade but they actually asked for your 'red cloth' without you noticing it. I personally hate all the base variants because it simply clogs up the screen. At some point I will choose a colour for each year (probably blue for 2015 and red or green for 2016), ditch all the previous year whites and have the current year white just for hoard trading. I don't really want 15 different colours of the same card, I am much more interested in picking up different inserts or whatever.
Have you all seen the new gold meld - Kylo will be available in 7 days for either a much larger pile of whites or for the 6 golds they are making available this week. So going through the gold meld route requires shredding 600 whites - you don't get to keep them if you hit the target - and presumably the direct count will be a similar level. I think the next bunch of gold cards will require more like 250 whites.
I have quite a few blue and red duplicates now, so if anyone still has to finish their sets, send me a trade (tangentJB) - I should be able to fill some gaps at least. Note that some of you may try and trade for the same cards, so just reconstruct it if it gets cancelled.
