Apologies mate - was only having a laugh! As I said couldn't resist....
There's no doubt KG is wired differently than most. No doubt that pisses people off. He cops it from all sides (including me) for not watching his team play - he knows he'll get wound up just watching.
So he watches the whole game, (I'm sure he did have more of an effect than u or I by the way) and gets totally into it just like he knew he would. I'm surprised he didn't get a T to be honest!
Apparently Lindsey Hunter and KG were sharing comments about each others lineage the whole game according to a guy on HK who posted about watching it live....
Gonna be an awesome series....![]()
I'm sure Hunter will hit an annoying 3 or 2 sometime in the series and plays good D....I bet if Doc decides to get Tony Allen to bring the ball up again if Marbury continues to stink it up then Hunter will b all over him...
Tony Allen is a slashing scorer with major hops meaning his height isn't a problem. Also has turned into a great defender with his long arms and he is bigger than 6'4 I'm sure. He has stopped Kobe in the past for us and is one of the reasons we let Posey go last year. He put in some great games to finish the season and this up and down game suits him so I'm not sure why Doc hasn't put him in yet especially with Gordon lighting it up today.
If TA had a basketball IQ he would be an all star. Trouble is he aint that smart.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR SNUB!
Perk doesn't get even one vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But Hedo and Grant Hill do?????
Howard himself knows how hard Perk is to play as he is usually held by our big fella just like a lot of the other C's in the league. This year Perk didn't have KG for a lot of the season and showed he can stand alone as a defender and control his fouling and temperament as well.
Just goes to show how hard it is to win an award when you aren't considered a star like Bron, Wade, Howard......
Howard received 542 points, including 105 firstlace votes from a panel of 119 writers and broadcasters. Cleveland's LeBron James was second with 148 points and Miami's Dwyane Wade finished third with 90 points.
Boston's injury list grows: Powe out for season

WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) -- Boston Celtics forward Leon Powe will mss the rest of the playoffs with a torn ligament in his left knee.
Powe has a torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn meniscus, coach Doc Rivers said after prctice on Tuesday. Powe, who is a free agent at the end of this season, will have surgery and spend the next 9-12 months recovering.
"That is just a tough injury for a kid who has done everything right," Rivers said.
With star Kevin Garnett already out with a strained right knee, the injury to another power forward hits the Celtics at a bad time. Boston beat Chicago 118-115 on Monday night to even their best-of-seven series at one game apiece.
"I feel bad for him," Bulls guard Ben Gordon said. "Anytime somebody has that severe an injury, that's every athlete's worst nightmare. Our best wishes go out to him, but they still have other big guys."
Celtics forward Brian Scalabrine, who is recovering from concussions and has played just 60 minutes since Jan. 25, has been cleared to practice on Wednesday. Point guard Rajon Rondo is nursing a sore ankle and won't practice, but Rivers said he will play in Game 3 on Thursday in Chicago.
"We have all hands on deck now," Rivers said.
Rivers said Powe hurt himself on a spin move but stayed on the court trying to play.
"He played 3 minutes with a torn ACL," Rivers said. "That says so much about Leon Powe the person."
Powe averaged 7.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this season, missing 13 straight games down the stretch with a different injury in his right knee. He returned for the last two games of the regular season and was expected to have increased responsibilities because of Garnett's absence.
"Obviously, with Garnett out and Powe out, that's to our advantage," Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro said, "but you hate to see guys get injured."
Numbers don't always reflect defense. How they can justify D with numbers is beyond me.
A LOT of steal and blocks are usually the result of bad D and although you get the stop at that point the player gambling too much gives up too many points when the gamble doesn't work.
Everyone said without KG our D was no good. Everyone said without KG Perk didnt' have to handle any good players and was second fidle. Well KG gots votes for second in this years award! Our D only gave up another 2pts a game with KG out!
If you want to just use stats then KG is overated as a defender ;-) But we all know he isn't as its more than stats.

1-1 hey.............All they need to do is hold the Home Court games and we have it.
Bet they don't though
Come on Bulls!
