Take that all the idiots that posted on the internet boards and said Ray was done. :wave::worthy::worthy::worthy::worthy:

Great to see KG stick around the whole game. Great game to watch and some great shots, no amount of real extra D would of reduced the score that much. Just some unconscious shooting at times by both teams.

and for OZ the Celts were STILL number 1 and 2 in defense for the league even with KG out :cool:

Was that Perk out there tonight or was I seeing Parish?? He played like the Chief tonight and the likeness was uncanny.

I bet though the NBC crew were asking if BBD had an outside shot even though he has made it all year :rolleyes:

Damn still pissed we thru away game one but still in this series and we have had our backs up against the wall before and taken it all. :v:

Question is, how will they deal with the loss of Powe for game 3 (presuming he's out)? Is Scal coming back in?

This is where it counts. C's tied it up and it's definitely a series to watch, can they get a couple in Chicage? At least come back to Boston tied up?

Can't wait for the live coverage on friday.
 
Depends, normally during the season you don't play the same team up to 7 times in a row. Then we use either BBD or Powe depending on matchups. Well BBD has the bulls measure it seems and as long as he can play the minutes its fine. But if we advance and the matchups suit having Powe more then its a problem.

Scal has dressed but still not sure if he is ready to play. Doc shortened the rotations a lot as one would of thought TA would be the obvious choice to put on Gordon.
 
Watching that game how could that game become shut down basketball OZ? Mostly played on the perimeter and guys hitting shot after shot with guys right on them. Most of the defensive boards were fairly long too with the Bulls being trapped under the glass.

We don't have an old man at point, we like the bulls have one of the top young PG's in the league that can actually run.

Yeah I understand not having KG in the paint doesn't stop the perimiter shots, but that's back to back games against the Bulls with high scoring games from both teams.

It's just funny to me for a team that prides themself on defense and holding teams to around 90 gives up 100+ per game on their home floor against the baby Bulls who obviously have been controling the flow of the game.

And don't count Fish out, we got plenty of guys who can run. :D

Anyway, like I said, looking like a good series and friday's game will be one to watch.
 
Nice to see KG staying classy, mean-mugging and dropping F-bombs at the Bulls.... I spose he has a right to, after his huge game tonight. :rolleyes:

Don't worry Oz, the Celts might come back tied up, they might win the series.

It's just not Ben Gordon's time yet. Ahaha but damn big 42 from him!

Yeah he had a blinder but don't get me wrong, I'm not getting behind the Bulls. They say 'be careful what you wish for', but every Laker fan would love nothing more than to have another shot at Boston at full health. ;)

What was he sposed to do? What a dumbass comment.

Outstanding efforts from Perk and BBD, He better keep hitting those J's as Powe doesn't look good. U could even argue they coulda gone to Perk more he was so dominant inside - 7-9 from the field...C's dominated the boards but still only just got home. Totally awesome game to watch!

Congrats to the bulls. Miller had a fine game off the bench and Gordon was off the charts! C's have to find a way to slow down the tempo, and somehow slow down the Bulls backcourt - easier said than done as they're both quick young guys and Gordon had such a quick release....

Ray Allen - I said they had to get him back into the game but man - what a player!!!

Allen justified today why he is worth what he gets paid. This game shows that he has some leadership qualities, and stepped up when required. I yhought his pf count would have him in trouble, but he kept out of fouls way!

Hmm... I suppose he could NOT be calling the Chicago bench motherf***ers and glaring at them like he hit the dagger, when in reality he had about as much impact on the game as you or I... Especially after Ray Allen's oestrogen-filled rant at the Cavs for supposedly being classless by dancing while on the bench. This is after he's just gone the grope on Varejao's nuts. Congrats to the Celts for levelling the series, but KG needs some form of social integration course...

I know where you're coming from and I have to admit there's cheering your team on and then there's being an a** about it. But that's just KG man, he's always been this way.

Yeah, until that Cavs/Boston game, I had a high opinion of Ray Allen, maybe he's just getting grumpy in his old age... Lol! And I will even say I was happy to see KG get a ring, but his behaviour over the last season has either deteriorated dramatically or just gets more coverage in Boston. But the picking fights with smaller/mentally weaker opponents, the getting on his knees and barking like a dog, the Calderon thing, this and a few other things just bug me. Especially when his team-mates, coach and KG himself, bring it up in interviews that they're "a classy organisation with classy players and we like to win the right way." Hell, if you want to be a *****, stand up and SAY "I'm a *****", and I'll applaud you for it. Hell, I loved Rodman, the Bad Boy Pistons, Sheed, Artest... Just don't bother with the "we're classy" crap...
 
I think the C's don't take s$$^ from anyone just like any good team. That means Ray Allen's not gonna get thrown to the ground by Varejao. They do anything to win. KG does some weird s%^&% to get into the heads of players if he thinks it'll help! Classy? not really, I'll agree with that. But then neither were the Spurs when they won their titles, they did what they had to do to win..... If u read the writeup bout todays game Ray said he and Gordon swapped elbows.....it was a tough game - no moaning, just a flat out awesome game....

That's IT!!! You go sit in the corner and think about what u typed!!! lol! :p I've got no problem copping a spray on here, in a street game or at club level. But when you talk like KG about being classy and thats how u act, kind of hyporcritical... Then him or Ray will probably whine about the "classless" Chicago fans/players if they get a mouthful there.
 
And Im sure ML Carr never said a bad word on the bench either or Bird on court as well.... I'd rather have KG mouthing off than in another city or the rooms.
 
Apologies mate - was only having a laugh! As I said couldn't resist....:lol::lol:

There's no doubt KG is wired differently than most. No doubt that pisses people off. He cops it from all sides (including me) for not watching his team play - he knows he'll get wound up just watching.
So he watches the whole game, (I'm sure he did have more of an effect than u or I by the way) and gets totally into it just like he knew he would. I'm surprised he didn't get a T to be honest!

Apparently Lindsey Hunter and KG were sharing comments about each others lineage the whole game according to a guy on HK who posted about watching it live....

Gonna be an awesome series....:thumbsup:
