Supremacy 2021

I wonder if they will continue with it. https://selectaustralia.com.au/blogs/news/select-collector-club

After reading below, I am not so sure they will bother with it. I will need to put a comment up saying how great it is t's a free 100k without a price increase no way they give that up.

If anyone isn’t going to purchase their SCC boxes please message me and I’m sure we can work out a deal

I've been comparing the 2019 release to 2021. Does anyone think the base silver & base red parallels, franchise non sig parallels and rookies were later add ons? These 4 sets alone would double the production numbers at little cost with nearly $1.7m extra revenue for Select. Not a bad move from a business perspective.
As collectors the 40% price hike was not a surprise but the product has been diluted somewhat so a double whammy. There's still some great cards to collect with the extra triple signature compared to 2019, but on average, the box contents are lower than 2019 which had 3 or 4 signatures/memorabilia per box.
Not sure how much profit there will be per box when things settle down after release but would think the average box will still exceed $700.

From what ive been told you are 100% correct.

Was tossing up buying just one box as I don't think the value is anywhere near as good as 2019 Supremacy, but the chance at Dunstall cards got the better of me and I purchased 2. Bring on Monday the 29th.

That's why i think these boxes will be worth more. The chase for that super dooper high end booklets will keep the punters coming.

Might be able to trade a sealed box for one ;)

This is what i get as a breakdown, what surprises/confuses me is the amount of the overun, almost 1 extra card per box could've been included, if all cards were boxed that would be 10.8 cards per box.

Club Champions is actually 44 cards on the checklist not 43.. going by the numbers there’s either more boxes produced, an extra insert not mentioned or 11 card boxes.. as 52000 cards doesn’t fit into 4800 boxes going by their numbers.

Also if it was 2 guaranteed sigs per box not 1 it would be a lot more enticing I think. Only having 1 Sig guaranteed is bit of a flat point for me

I noticed this as well.

Perhaps there's a sneaky surprise, they did drop the Gold Headliners on us.

Though there is probably a simple math reason, I can't work out.

you are right, there are 44 names there, i was just going off the blurb.

with that, if there was 10 cards, if you got a booklet and 11 if you didnt get a booklet, then there would be 265 boxes with a spacer card. i wonder if they have done that? otherwise there are a stack of cards not in boxes

Just looking at the odds for card hits on the select site and noticed that the Franchise Future 36 cards limited to 70 of each are listed at 1:4 packs and the Franchise Future Signatures 36 cards limited to 70 are listed at 1:2 packs. Can't work out how this could be ?

I know there are some huge names in this release but to go from 2 sigs in 2019 to only 1 this year with a $200+ price rise it’s a big disappointment. Especially after they pocketed nearly $60,000 in SCC membership money.

Totally agree
