And the funniest reaction to a loss to me so far goes to Swizz last night! Accused me of dogging the paint early cause I had 16 of my 1st 30 in the paint and 24 of my 1st 42 before I found my range properly...this was also with 14 on the break (some not included in the FBP tally...I dunno how the game chooses that) and me being only 2/11 from downtown at 1 stage...

I finished the game with only 38 in the paint after I got used to playing online again.

Swizz would hate to play me then! In my game against Perry Parsons I couldn't get my shot going until the 3rd quarter. At one point during the second I had 26 of 32 points scored in the paint. I ended with something like 66 out of 102 or something like that. Although to be fair I had 20 on the break.

Yeah I dunno what Swizz was thinking to be honest...I mean sure I had 16 in the paint to his 4, but I had 2 offensive rebound dunks in that and fast break points. Anyone who knows me knows I don't go to the paint as a 1st option often. In fact, when I need to get guaranteed points and start thinking inside I usually fail :lol: And by games end I'd chucked up 39 triples (which is ~my average amount per game) including bricks from a wide open Brooks all game as I shot him out of a slump (or at least tried too...I'll never pass up an open shot even if I don't seem to be hitting them with that player in that game!). I dunno.


On another note, WOW is all I can say about this guys. I can't wait!!!!!!!

Man the MJ bit is going to be awesome!!!! And I'm looking forward to playing alot more offline instead of worrying about online.

Its going to be great trying to emulate him and get all the goals of each game i reckon. Sounds cool that its all true to how it all went down including all the old school players. Wonder if you have to do that nasty spin move against the Knicks then finish it off with the dunk on Ewing :D

guys just letting you know that i have traded my Nba 2k10 in at EB games for a copy of Nba 2k11, so i will no longer be on to play the games i have left in all leagues. sorry

I havnt been online lately 4 a few reasons work etc but i hope to catch all you guys on 2k11 when its out... been fun playing with most of you's...

Long time no see gents, hope the leagues are still going strong and some fun clean gaming being enjoyed.

Looking forward to 2k11 and as the little one approaches 1year old finding my gaming time is increasing a little, so no doubt sometime in the 2k11 span I'll be jumping back in and enjoying you guys for some league action.

Good to see you back.

Gaming has died down quite a bit recently. Some of that has to do with 2K10's botched online mode that has caused issues with the playoffs not generating.

Can't wait for 2K11!

Hey boys how is the league going, still struggling? I'm thinking that I wont be back for awhile now as to fix my PS3 it's gonna cost me $220 and I'm saving for a few things at the moment and the PS3 is on the bottom of that list of things. So I might pull the plug on the comps I'm in and might just sell the game now while I can still get some pocket change for it instead of pocket lint before 2K11 comes out...actually enjoying the time not glued to the PS3 recently actually, been better for my study and fitness. BUT...I will be back!!! :v:

Yeah tough to find games now...and I'm in 2 leagues + the S2 playoffs! 2k11 out ~10th of October yes?

I don't know what the reason is - but maybe 2k10 (especially on-line play - not that it was fantastic) is getting boring for most.
Easy to see this, i.e when I'm on, and there's 5 or so people also online, but not actually playing 2k. Defintely time for a change (and hopefully better online play)

Let's just scrap the rest of the seasons and get 2K11 then?

A bit disappointing considering the playoffs in season 2 stuffed up, especially when they could have been advanced over 2 months ago and we could have completed that season.

Ah well though, what can you do. I need to get some new games. Bit tired of 2K and Madden all the time.

I'm not really a first person shooter kind of guy though. Any suggestions on what else is good? I don't mind RPG's...

Uncharted 2 is a great game. Bit of a puzzles, 3rd person shooting, finding secret items, and the main charactor is a actually quite funny! Also enjoying Assassin's Creed 2 currently before Assisn's Creed Brotherhood comes out in a couple of months. These 2 games and 2k10 are pretty much all I play, but then I haven't played Uncharted for a while cause of the other 2. Check the video reviews on ign.com :)

Yeah not much of an FPS guy myself. I got COD4 with my ps3, I played it once and it made me sick!
Whole reason I got a ps3 was for GT5, so i'm hanging out for that.
Downloaded 2k11 demo, and I can't say i'm super impressed, but things seemed a bit more fluid.

Yeah COD looks like mid 90s Bond on N64 to me...backward to the max! But I guess it's fun for those that enjoy that type of game. I used to, but not anymore.

I downloaded the 2k11 Demo too...thought it was less fluid, and I don't know if it was majorly dumbed down, but I found it hard to execute much of anything. Also have they gone more cartoony for the look of the players? Not majorly impressed but I'll hold my tongue until the real deal.

Yeah probably dumbed down. I'm with you, I hope the real deal is better - But can you really form an opinion after 4 mins?

Well since there was no tempo, plays or any other controls, I formed an opinion 1st time down the floor! :lol: And I felt like I was playing with bobbleheads...but other than that it's all conjecture.

Haha I saw the graphics too they don't look great. Hope it's not all like that.

As for COD, I don't want to play simply because I've seen how it turns people into losers. They get way TOO MUCH into it.

Haha i have to agree on the loser part. I love COD but some guys take it waaaaaaaay to seriously. I've received many a message from some 12yr old kid i just blew up with a rocket launcher abusing the shiz out of me :lol:

The vids on youtube of 2k11 look good so surely the graphics issue its just a preview thing?
