FYI for those that don't know already, BIGTRV now has a new modem so is back online and he will be taking control back of the Dallas Mavericks.
James has been removed, he told me today he has to go to Germany tomorrow so not sure why he is still asking about pushing trades through.

thats the most exciting game i ever had on this league, come from behind win you were leading all quarter until i manage to get back and take control the game thanks for being sports.....

Ive decided, by seeing a few stat lines and a lot of comments of games from guys on here, that if this sort of crap happens to me, at a stupid level of course, I will be pulling the plug on the game and asking to be reset. Thats just fking ridiculous...... I was going to play Swish tonight after having a good game against the Wizards but decided not to because if he played like that I would have lost any enjoyment from the previous game!!
I know everyone is competitive but FFS play the game in a half decent spirit, not like we have to many rules or anything involved, just use ya freaking heads!!
On another note, I thought I went inside against the Wizards a bit more then normal....... 42 in the Paint out of 82!

I played Sacramento (Big_Tee) earlier in the season and didn't think he was that bad ( in reference to Alidrew's game ).
In regards to Swish I have to agree. Playing him was infuriating. I thought Ben-Portsie cheesed badly in Season 1, but he has NOTHING on Swish.
Combine that with the fact that Swish's connection is rubbish and he must have dropped out of at least 12 games already and I am wondering why he is even in the league?
I understand it may be hard to fill his spot, but there are plenty of games left to be played, I don't think he should be holding his grip on the team purely to get games played.
NOBODY likes playing him (it's unanimous just about) and his connection sucks. Those two factors should be enough to get rid of him.
Looking at the team stats page, here are some of the worst offenders.
Philadelphia/Zelmeister/GreenGoblin - 76%
New Jersey/MattBowen - 74%
Pistons/RIPTAS - 72%
Toronton/KOORITHUG - 73%
Orlando/Derrick Rose Cheeser - 69%
Surprisingly Indiana isn't too bad. Just takes a lot of jumpers with JR Smith. I think those around 75% are just ridiculous though. Philadelphia and NJ in particular.
I wanted to see how much I've changed my game (because when defending my points in the paint in season 1 I said I didn't have great jump-shooters and the 76ers were primarily a run and gun team make-up). Turns out I was right. In Season 1 I scored 77% of my points in the paint. This season I've become much more rounded whether that is due to different players or style I'm not sure but only at 64% this season.
I'm at 64% in the paint this season, Digeze is 60.5%, Nenjabin 51%, Ranga 31%.

Let me just make it clear that i have absolutely NO problem with players scoring in the paint, its purely the method in which the player gets there too score
also the fact i dont want to continue with shouldnt take away from the huge effort Ben, Michael & Jimboc put into making this league a winner

Good call Aussie and Jimbo. I think our league is good cause we allow points in the paint and such, which means if your jumper fails, you can still be in the game. I was talking briefly with AJ the other day and her league states in the rules "50% in the paint or less is allowable", "no fast breaks off rebonds, only steals/turnovers" and those are only the 1st 2 rules she mentioned! Half our league would be utterly stuffed if we did the 50% thing! I have had games where I get close to 60-65%, but other times only 30%, hence my average. Swish is an odd 1 cause he can play the perfect style very well and has against me in practice matches, but seems to prefer to force a win in the league...

I've read a lil bit of what goes on here and you know what... I admire every single one of you who can put up with the paint cheese.... I couldn't... if I had a ps3 I'd have quit this league within a week I reckon.
One thing to use post moves, the odd isolation (but only if they get cleanly past, no forcing it) and the odd lead pass to score inside, another thing altogether to run around like a chook with your head cut off to score. That is exploiting the game... so really glad I don't have a ps3 lol
You'd find it's not that hard to adjust to scoring 50% or less in the paint... in a game where I score 80+ points, I might score 20 points in the paint.
One thing about our rule though, PiP earned via turnovers/fast break are not counted towards ya overall - so they get subtracted from ya PiP total... so if you are a good defensive team you get rewarded with some free PiP.
I like the way they run our league, it works for me and it works for our league. As long as you guys are happy with how you work it, then all you have to do is find ways to counter act the guys that force it inside. Force contact, it should help! lol Run a 2 - 3 zone also... clog it up inside

SO i had no choice to leave, but this has been the most enjoyable league I have been part of and all of you were great, fun and fair to play with. There were some ups and some downs but we all managed to fix them and I would defiantly rate this league a 10/10. Thanks guys and sorry for leaving on such short notice. Good to play with ya'll

Wish Mattbowen would get online like he said he would...That would wipe out the next "weeks" games for me too. Pity we can't get playoffs started til Nick is back cause I likely won't get any games done before the weekend of the 17th, and even then I'll be lucky...

Ok i'll have a look at your roster. I like my roster alot but I feel I need 1 or 2 changes to get the team right were I want it. I rate Chandler alot higher then what 2K sports have. He's been a monster & played 20 times better then Shaq & I play him half the time. So I might want more for him then what you think he's worth. Not trying to shaft you, but you play with him & you'll wonder why he's rated so low. Ive had no choice but to keep bumping up he's minutes... See what we can come up with.
