NFL Discussion Thread. (SPOILERS)

some seriously good QB's in the the NFL right now... amazing depth of talent and some record are looking sure to fall as well if this pace continues with peyton

Man the Raiders need a new LG and quick! This from PFF about Lucas Nix against the Eagles...
"The Raiders may not have any other options behind Nix, but he’s pushing toward some historically bad play. His -7.5 grade on the day pushes him to -32.5 overall for the season, a grade that would represent the worst ever given to a guard in since PFF’s inception in 2008."

The Bolded sums up the OL play this year pretty well...

my 49ers have got some good momentum after the slow start to season and now we have a heap of our injured players back too... hopefully we can go one step further than last yr!

Manningham cleared to play, and crab finally cleared to start practicing means we will hopefully get our #1&2 receivers back for the run into the playoffs. We have the 28th ranked pass offence atm, but put them next to Boldin and Davis and that start will surely change!

Huge win for the Rams!
And another shocker for the Raiders... despite the loss Jennings looked pretty good and done more than what McFadden would have. I really hope Jennings is kept as the starter when/if McFadden returns from injury.

Yeah, we couldn't get a TD to save ourselves (and get a win) a week or so ago and we get a shedload today ! Nice to get a big W though, and to have Tavon Austin show some of his skills !

A huge breakout game from Austin. Fingers crossed he can keep it up and have a couple more of those performances.

Latest from Raider land is Pryor has a sprained MCL and could miss a couple games. A rumour going around a few of the Raider sites is that this is just an excuse for the team to save face when they are really looking at benching Pryor since he has played very poorly this past month - his QB rating the past 4 games is 42.0 with 1 TD and 8 INT (only 2 Raider QB's have had a worse QB rating over 4 games - Russell in 2009 and Flores in 1964...). A lot of the coaching staff and personal staff are very big on undrafted rookie Matt McGloin and it has been also rumoured previously McKenzie and Allen were pressured to start the season with Pryor from Mark Davis after Flynn struggled.

Pryor out with Matt McGloin to be starting for the Raiders tomorrow and Tyler Wilson activated from the PS for the first time this season. So the Raiders two QB's on the roster have currently combined to start for... zero regular season games

God I love seeing the Pats lose lol. Hope my broncos give them a touch up next week, although Manning looking a bit tentative on those ankles. Von Miller is a machine, hopefully he gives Brady a hard time.

Eagles made me proud today. Playing horrible in a snowstorm chip kelly made the right in game adjusments and the offensive line and shady mccoy stepped up big time (135yd in the first 4.5 minutes of the 4th quarter and broke vanburen's franchise 205yd rushing in a single game record with 217). Shady ran hard and straight like viagra and has the potential to be one of the greatest all time RB's over time. Chip Kelly coach of the year all though most probably will lose to Andy Reid whom we all know would have aired it out 50+ times because he saw a exploitation in the lions secondary. Looks like we are almost playoff bound after everyone had wrote us off to be lucky to win 3 games.

RG3 has been "shut down" for the remainder of the season...

RG3 doesn't sound to happy about (can't blame the guy!). Will be interesting to see what happens if Cousins puts in a couple good games. By the sounds of it Shanahan is on the outer (can't stand the guy as much as I can't stand Rex Ryan). Maybe RG3 or Cousins could be on the trading block in the off-season?
