New Player Collection Ideas with Poll

Okay so I love my Wolves, but I also love trying to chase down players based on Beckett order (although does not help when beckett find more cards they missed after I print the list... so I try and chase down all cards based on beckett order at time of printing, anything else I find is put in as extras at the back of folder lol) Now atm I am only collecting Rider, Sealy and West... they are coming in in dribs and drabs don't find much very often... so I am thinking of adding another player. Something to add to my attention when I get a bit bored picking up rare K Love and Beasley after rare k love and beasley

All players I collect have to have one thing in common, to have played for the Timberwolves at some point.

At the moment I am considering for different reasons the following three options

Ellington, Wayne (active)
Key Beckett stats as of 11-01-2012

Cards: 209 of which 104 are memorabilia cards, 93 of them are autographed, 185 are serial numbered and he has 21 true rookie cards.

Smith, Joe (is he still playing? lol)
Key Beckett stats as of 11-01-2012

Cards: 1116 of which 51 are memorabilia cards, 28 are autographed, 360 are serial numbered and he has 17 true rookie cards.

Wright, Bracey (playing in some rec league? lol)
Key Beckett Stats

Cards: 133 of which 18 are memorabilia cards, 52 are autographed, 109 are serial numbered and he has 19 true rookie cards.


So tell me who you think would be fun or a good idea or why.... if you have a really good rare card of one of these guys which may help persuade me... then by all means lol In the end I'll make the decision myself... but I am curious to see what ya'll have to say!

I think you'd be better off with a long term Timberwolf.... Sammy Mitchell! If not, maybe go for a nice concise set like Bracey Wright - something a bit different!

Bracey wright has like...17 1/1s or something crazy like that... I know where 1 is... that's about it lol But he is still a possibility... Sam Mitchell is someone I have considered in the past, but isn't really appealing too me much right now, great suggestion though!

I chose Smith, has awesome inserts, played for some teams that has awesome patch cards, doesn't have any Exquisite or NT rookie cards - no expensive rc cards and has a ton of nice affordable inserts!

It's a pretty card, but even with my job, it's an unrealistic card for me, way out of my price range. I am leaning towards Joe Smith because I like the Warriors outfits for a start so I can at least enjoy his rookie year and subsequent years in Golden State.... I don't mind that a lot of his good cards are out of a 'Sota uniform, a lot of Riders are exactly the same (granted he is my fave player lol so there's no argument there really). That and I have a good source to potentially obtain a few more of those rare joe smiths, after all I got a couple star rubies and a platinum medallion from his wolves days already thanks to backinthemixer!

The Ricky Rubio suggestion as much as I'd love to, his cards will be too pricey atm... I have to collect smart it's as simple as that lol

Oh don't be lazy but if it helps check out my bucket every Wolves Ellington I have is scanned (whether it be in the 09/10 and 10/11 base folders) or auto or gu or numbered folders that way you only have to scan ones you don't see me having... they are also in chronological order lol
