Theres a huge possibility that the dons will be 1 win-10 losses after the next 4 weeks they play eagles/crows/power and the cats lol.

Stole this from a horse racing site I visit I had a good laugh.
...............
As a staunch Essendon supporter, ive had enough. I will not sit back and watch this rabble anymore without expressing my frustration. This side is a disgrace. They are the worse side in the league, and if they are evens or better for the spoon, i will get on now with plenty.Where do we start....
Andrew Welsh-absolutely disgusting..how this dud gets a game is beyond me.
Chris Heffernan-Is fooling everyone but not me.He is pathetic.
Kepler Bradley-Should be in a circus, not an afl match.Unco-ordinated hack.
Jason Winderlich-Doubt whether he could burst through a wet paper bag...super soft.
Dean Solomon-Looks as though he's just come out of a cave, the untidy slob. His football has been absolutely shocking.Gotta go..
Dean Rioli-I was a fan, but hes lost me now.If he could ever get away from that turtle souffle, there may be a chance for him, but at this stage its a lost cause.
Scott Camporeale-Well what a pickup...how bad is this hack. He couldnt get a hardball at a strip club.
Aaron Henneman-Thankfully hes out for the year with a shoulder problem...you beauty.
Joel Reynolds-Only on our list 'cause his surname is Reynolds..will never make it and its time to cut him free.
I could go on and on but i'm just getting more ticked off the more i type.At least i will be one of the privileged ones, that will be at AAMI Stadium in round 10, where a new league record will be kicked by the Adelaide Crows.I will be able to say, "I was there the day the crows kicked a record 42 goals against Essendon".You might laugh, but let me assure you, this is a real possibility.
I would like to know if others feel the same way, or am i just being over critical.

Cheers Lam

The highlights for me=

Dean Rioli-I was a fan, but hes lost me now.If he could ever get away from that turtle souffle, there may be a chance for him
and "Scott Camporeale-Well what a pickup...how bad is this hack. He couldnt get a hardball at a strip club."

David Hille as captain is gold :)

Actually i think his list is spot on, although id happily take Welsh on the Pies. He's not a bad player. Solomon could also play a good role on a deeper team, but he's not a starter.

Seeing a third of the club is out of action at the moment it's kinda hard to win, even against a rabble like Carlton.

Henneman, Hird, Ramanauskas, McVeigh, Camporeale, Cole, Fletcher, Johns,
Lloyd, Rioli, Slattery & Ryder all unavailable for Selection this week. That's at least 8 of our best 22, including our best 3 players. I'd love to see how the Pies would go with that many out. Oh right, I did get to see, last year, when they tanked the season after losing Anthony Rocca. And I got to see it Saturday night, when they lost with a full list except for a 33 year old midfielder.

PS You can have Welsh if you think he's that good, you can use him once a year on Anzac Day so your guys can take hangers on top of him.

hard ball at a strip club lol...gotta remember that one :D

there have been some great signs for the future at esendon though, jobe watson and lovett murray are stars, theyl be the backbone of a rebuilding young team in years to come. rioli, lucas, hird, lloyd etc all getting past their prime, once all the oldies leave and some new blood gets in there they will be strong again.

oooh look whos up and out of his box :) solomon is slower than rioli, the only player at the dons the pies would be remotely interested in would be Monfries and even then hed have to keep the pine warm and hand out oranges at halftime to the stars of the competition like Rocca and Buckley.

Essendon are going to go through a similar rebuilding stage to Brisbane over the next 3-4 years. Quite a few of their older stars are starting to fade and they will need to use some new younger players to rebuild to their former selves.

Essendon was always going to have this stage as their older players were fading out, then why do they pick up players like camporeale, hes a soft joke. It's like plugging a dam with fairy bread.

I dont think the older stars are fading, fletcher has been as good as ever, and Hird cannot do things alone.

I think the let down has been, over the years when lloyd is out, we've never had a FF to cover him.. and from then we still haven't learnt to draft one since.. and now look.. we have no options.. Lucas is not a FF, and Lovett has lost the plot mentally. We just have no forward options, and Sheeds is learning the hard way. I hope that teaches the man a leason.. and that is we need to draft another forward.. enough of the dodgy mid fielders..

Dude.. clearly your team has had nothing but midfielders the last few years.. but we're quite the opposite.. we have (when full stength) everything but a midfielder.. so of course drafting this guy for free was going to be on the cards..

esendon dont need a FF, the classic role of the FF is being phased out in modern footy, look at the top sides, do any of they have a FF kicking 8 every week? no, its midfield where the game is won and lost these days. melbourne doesnt rely on neitz as much and look at how much they have improved, same with sydney and hall, pies and tarrant etc. having one focal point for your offence these days is stupid. the crows have no specialist forwards really and theyre the best team in the league.

Agree 100000% with that.

Forgot to mention West Coast who hasn't had a full forward since Sumich and he wasn't a genuine FF at that! Adelaide as well, these 2 teams always have multiple scorers, relying on the classic FF is now unnecessary and also inconsistent.

neitz isnt any good so you cant bring him into the picture..

but what about lynch when he played? what about gehrig, how many did he kick last year? fevola, what was that on sunday?

my point is, we have no forward options.. your naming alot of great full forwards of the game, but are you to tell me they do nothing? dont mention tarrant either.. he marks mid ground, and thats about all you'll get from that guy.. we need some tall timber down there.. if theres no FF in the game, then why have a position called that? why have a tall forward down to play that spot? lloyd was a marking machine down there, or a free kick taker, we dont have anyone near his quality to back him up.. and dont tell me theres no need to back him up.. because look at the full backs.. they're taller that what we've got down forward..

anyways... i dont really care about essendon right now.. no need.. so bag away

oh hang on, one last thing.. all those teams you mentioned have goal kicking midfielders.. tell me.. who kicks goals from essendons midfield?

i suppose if you lose tarrant/rocca that collingwood would still be a great kicking side.. last year they proved well that they can play without rocca, and when tarrants missing they play really well huh

and i suppose if lynch played the grand final you would have won? i agree with that because at least he could have been used as a forward decoy, or even as a tall target down forward.. the difference between winning and losing that gf was having no FF

Once again this year tarrant leads the AFL in goal assists if only every team had such an unselfish forward, maybe you wouldnt be fighting for the spoon.
