DIY cards

Afternoon everyone,

Could anyone tell me how to make my own cards. Started the 300 game card thread and was just reading about them so a question to anyone who does it. What program's do use, how do you do it etc...

Giving this thread a bit of a bump as i am playing with the idea of creating a set of notable football players who have represented Newcastle in the various National Soccer league teams since 1978.

Has anyone had any experience with creating their own sets? I've had a look at a few websites and am looking for people to recommend one they may have used or had a friend that has used / any to stay away from etc.
