I see in the NRL thread the sneak peeks and the proposed release dates for NRL Series 1 2012. Anyone heard any info about AFL Select series 1 2012.

Hi Peter,

Steve Wang said the AFL Series should be out just before the NRL so that should be around the 15th March.

Select have just confirmed the release date is the 2nd of March via their facebook page

Well either Wang or Select are wrong. Wang was right on the NRL date so perhaps we need some more clarification from Select.

So if AFL is coming out at that date then thinking we should get the NRL around that date too.

According to Wang the NRL cards are still being packed so they wont be out at the same time

Hey guys,

Heard there was a sneak peak in the new pre-season AFL record and went down to the newsagent to see if it were the case. Here is the advertisement. Page 42 if you wanted to check it out yourself while picking up a newspaper

Looks like there will a club trio (similar to the fab four), best & fairest, rising star nominations, game milestone and some sort of star signature peel card. Enjoy!

Whats with the cards with circular edges?? Also I dont see any parallel or signature cards. Maybe thats the bonus redemption?
