That's great news. Any idea if it will be packs or sold as team sets?

The only info I have, and I received this from a BBL team's marketing team, is that it is being handled by BBL and not the clubs, and that a trading card set is on the agenda and will be released in conjunction with this summer. They had no further details either.

That sounds right. They did badges for each player for all teams last year, and they seem to be consistent across all teams with same merchandise for all, just in different colors etc.

Will be great either way if it happens.

Really? Select emailed me to say they weren't doing any cards.

Am still trying to get the producer from my BBL contact.

Well the email was from JHL.....so maybe it isn't Select but JHL appear to be distributing the product

Awesome news, lets hope its not a half a*sed effort, thats what kills the cricket collecting hobby, im sure collectors would buy the stuff by the truck loads if it was a decent enough release. A decent cricket card release is well and truely overdue!

Did the reliable source happen to mention who is producing the cards...because despite JHL distributing a few people have already said that it wasn't Select???

SEP did tell me that they were going to do a BBL set. I'll give them a call and see if they can confirm it.
