You have to be kidding me! Mate, you hit MOJO huge....

Roger Marris was in the home run race with Mickey Mantle during the '61 season, both playing on the same Yankee team. No one wanted Roger to beat Mickey as Mickey was the ultimate player in the league. Marris on the last day hit the 61st home run of the season breaking Babe Ruths hold on 60 Home Runs as the record.

Steve Carlton is a HOF pitcher who was in the 70's almost as dominant as Nolan Ryan as a pitcher. This in itself is a Semi Mojo card because of its numbering.

Lou Brock was the stolen base king until Rickey Henderson broke that record. He is also a HOF player.

Lou Gehrig was part of the NY Yankees in the late 20's through early 40's. He played 1st base and was by far, the best 1st baseman of his time. He played with Babe Ruth, Bill Dickey, Tony Lazarri and about 6 other HOF players. At one point, they were called Murders Row for the amount of home runs they hit. He hit for power, average, and drove in a lot of RBI's. He is also in the Hall Of Fame and was friendly with my grandfather.

He also had the longest streak of any player of 2156 games played in a row until Cal Ripken Jr. beat it in 1998.

That card you have is a classic and envy you for busting it. I have tons of baseball but its very modest compared to what you just pulled.

BTW, RBI means runs batted in, which on most teams if you get over 100 its a great year.

If you ever wish to trade that card, please let me know! :)

Watch the movie 61*. I have it on dvd, fantastic movie by Billy Crystal, gives you the whole great story of the Mantle/Marris battle.
