Mighty Mouse.....................is in the house!
Throwing this one all the way back to the early 90s and the expansion Toronto Raptors team featuring a certain 5'10' PG playing in what was perhaps the coolest basketball jersey ever designed.
Damon 'Mighty Mouse' Stoudamire
1996 Score Board Basketball Rookies - Die Cuts - Sample - nice use of the die cut withe gold foil.
1996-97 Fleer Ultra Gold Medallion Edition - There it is in all it;s glory - THE jersey!
1995-96 Fleer Metal RC - Great looking cards, Fleer Metal among my all time faves....
1998-99 Upper Deck UD Choice - Starquest Green - Love the green foil, need to pick up the rest for the mini "poor man's rainbow". lol
1996-97 Topps Chrome - Youthquake For those newer to the hobby the original Topps Chrome was the real deal... Iconic Youthquake!
1996-97 Skybox Premium - Net Set An under-rated insert from a great product. Somehow winded up with three of these....
1997-98 Skybox Z-Force - Boss - The Boss of embossing, player popping out of the card is a great look. This woudl have been awesome if the background hardwood was die-cut.
1997-98 Skybox Z-Force - Super Boss - As above, but withthe chrome-ish finish - noice looking bit of kit!
1998-99 Upper Deck Ionix - Skyonix - Really hard to capture the effects of this card well, even in hand, But when the light hits it at just the right angle it's among the best looking cards in the hobby. Pics do it no justice at all.
2017-18 Panini Donruss Optic - Fast Break Signatures - Just not the same in the Blazers jersey, is it?!
2015-16 Panini Totally Certified - Certified Competitor Autographs /99 (on card) - This satsifies all the cravings, THAT jersey, on card and some serial numbering to boot.
Well that's it for now, nothing top end or spectacular but soemthing different to look at and remember from days gone by. I need to get me a signed jersey one of these days, sorry, not "A" signed jersey, "THE" signed jersey. Those early Mighty Mouse years shall live long and vivid in my memory banks. #20 FTW!
Thansk for stopping by and having a look (and a read). Comments and likes much appreciated. Next mailday up soon...
