I also have a set of 1996 MVP signatures that are all the same number. But these were part of the fire sale - sell off as Dynamic were shutting down. Regards, Jim

    Fake????

Yes, it does make it sound a little like the nerds at a comic book shop checking out the latest super hero offering. I can assure you I don't mean any disrespect to anybody. But I'm far from the comic book nerd. Still, rugby league is a life long passion and thus cardboard is part of me (also)...

Is dynamic marketing still in production??

Yes, Dynamic Marketing is dead and you can't redeem cards. Still, some people collect the unredeemed cards and they do have some value. What unredeemed cards do you have? Regards, Jim

    Fake????

You just can't let it go! Understand this: I NEVER said it was a FAKE. More likely than not the card for numbered by another staff member at Dynamic for you and is 100% legit. Are the COA's both the same persons hand writing/signature? Really though, the second card you received should have...

    Fake????

Jeez Owen, I never called you a liar. I never called the one on ebay a fake. I never said you were the only person emailing the seller with opinions, taunts or questions. I never said your "right card" was a fake. I said it looks super dodgy. If you can't see that what's in front of...

    Fake????

Funny? No! all I'm saying is that your right hand card looks super dodgy. Compared to your left card, my personal cards and even the one on ebay. Exactly! and your card on the right is nothing like the left and nothing like ones in my own collection. Whether it's right or wrong is not the...

    Fake????

The ebay one looks fine to me, but of course it is out of 1500 not 1000. On the other hand the one in Owen's far right looks super dodgy. The number is in a different hand and in the wrong place. Regards, Jim

Attention Collectors ! Fraud has arrived on ebay !

As I remember it, he signed with the Steelers - broke his leg and had to retire without ever playing for Illawarra. But I could be wrong, this was some years ago! But I do know there was a 100% connection with the Illawarra Steelers.

Wanted: 1986 (Red) Scanlens NSWRL/ARL/NRL Cards

Yeah, thanks for the responses and suggestions. I have thousands of early cards to trade and I thought the point of this forum was to do such trading. But I don't seem to be getting any trades happening around here. Maybe people aren't into pre 2000 or something? Anyway, I'd happily go 2...

Re: Anyoffers on a 2003 Scanlens Darren Lockyer Signed by Darren himself at a book la Yes, indeed we do. I'm just sick of seeing these things for sale and the thousands upon thousands of the same thing. Never had an issue with personal message autographs or book signings and the like...

NRL Collectors - Question 2 - Memorabilia Cards

I have NO interest in a confetti-ed jumper. I'd prefer an embroidered team crest series or medal insert/game day coin flip etc.

Re: Anyoffers on a 2003 Scanlens Darren Lockyer Signed by Darren himself at a book la I don't understand any autographed commons or any non official COA signatures unless it makes you happy and has some personal connection. The cards are defaced and valueless to me. If you must get cards...

The dash is a replacement for the words "scoring the" or "got the" or something similar, much in the same way an apostrophe is used in place of a letter. It is assumed people are smart enough to insert the missing letters or words. It's ol' skool, something they wouldn't have taught in modern...
