Who's Ur Greatest "Big 3" Of All Time????

When you look at the bottom of that list, some teams are in for a pretty crappy season. For me the top big three was MJ, Pip and Horace Grant. They could have got 5-8 rings if MJ hadn't gone on off on his baseball fantasy.

Horace Grant is a very underrated player of the 90's, truly a player not defined by the stat sheet, not that there's anything wrong with averaing around 15 and 10 for like 5 straight seasons.

Couldn't agree with you more  Never looked for the glory, more that happy to play his role (4x all D team) and a super solid citizen. Legitimately the Bulls could have won/been legit title contenders the rest of the titles in the 90s.

parish bird mchale and of course jordan d rod and pip

thankyou someone finally said it......Parish Bird and McHale.....those 3 won a few championships together....remember MJ and Pippen were the only 2 bulls to win all 6 rings....
LeBron needs another star to play with him...like when D-Wade had shaq

Yep too bad he went to Orlando though, and they dominated Chicago when MJ returned after his first break haha.

Horace Grant left the Bulls because he couldn't stand being 2nd string to Jordan and Pippen. Same goes for BJ Armstrong.

Im sure I speak on the forums behalf when I say:

Im so sorry, I forgot you know MJ in such a personal way and he told you that himself.

Pfffffttttttt! Have you got any legit sources to back any of that up?!? Is it not possible for people playing alongside MJ to want a change of scenery? or a better offer came along or simply his contract was up......

And it begins again....

my fav. is Jordan, Pippen & Rodman.

they were who i watched in high school when i really started becoming a basketball fan.

I agree 200%
Rodman gets left off alot of lists but they won 72 games in one of those 3 years and for one main reason !
Post and half court defence !!! =D>
I just watched a couple of the games against UTAH in their 6th championship year and fair enough MJ did a large amount of the scoring but it was RODMANS defence on Karl Malone (all time 50 greatest) it turned the playoffs around and a joy to watch how much he , his teamates and millions of fans enjoyed it.... :D

These days, you cant go past

Chris paul, Chandler and whoever decides to show up in the 3rd spot on the night ! they are looking great for the future ! :woot:
or
Of course Garnett/ pierce and Allen have already proven their worth !

I'll try one more time... :ermm:

There are only two lists that have been mentioned that include 3 players that made the top 50 players of all time...and that is not any of the Bulls lists.

Hard to sepparate the two of them...both contain stars and gentlemen of the game, on and off the court.

Objectively, subjectively...look at this any way you like! Bird, McHale (hurts to type that thug's name!) and Parish and the Laker trio of Magic, Kareem and Worthy are head and sholders above any other three named in this thread.

Yep because Grant and BJ Armstrong were SO GIFTED that they really thought they could take on a significantly larger role than the large contributions they already made...

That's also why Dennis Rodman got tatoos and spraypainted hair, he went crazy being 2nd string to Jordan and Pippen..

I'm sure at some point every Bulls teammate may have been jealous of MJ's glory but why go away and lose a championship chance? Honestly..

I just looked it up on google.com, searched BJ Armstrong.

While he averaged a solid 14.0 in his last season with the Bulls, he DID NOT leave because he was out of the spotlight (as Joe Johnson, Al Harrington may have done hahah) but he was selected in the expansion draft. GOSH!@

Game, set and match Jimbo :D

Maybe we will hear less bout Bulls in player lists when they finally win a title without a team with Jordan on it. Maybe then when someone else has done it. But then again no one else has.

I think the point of this thread is "Who's Ur Greatest "Big 3" Of All Time"
There is No single player besides MJ that has won more championships as a player.... If this is incorrect then someone please point it out to me !

So unless it is a personal choice !

How could you not pick either 3peat bulls team from the 90's Especially considering the class of players being drafter after 1989

? is 72 wins in a single season still unbeaten ?

As for players leaving because they were sick of playing second fiddle? A NBA championship is the ultimate for any player... even your local comp title is sweet to win !
How many titles did Rodman, Pippen, Horace Grant, BJ win after they broke up either 3 peat team !

Maybe the top 3 should be

JORDAN, Steve KERR, and PIPPEN (6 rings is still a record)all have more than 3 championships, + Kerr won one with the spurs i think

Out by just a bit with this one...the 'great' MJ ranks as low as =8th in terms of most rings won.

Going on that 'logic', Russell/Sam Jones/Heinsohn are the greatest 3 of all time with 11, 10 and 8 rings.
