Select Certified 2017 Official Thread

I reckon they might leave the hall of fame till next year. Having a look back there have only been 29 new inductees since the last release if there is the normal 6-7 inductees this year it will make 35-36 for next year plus 3 legends which is about the number the last release had.

pps if I'm any wrong here second thoughts are:

All Australian still at 1:6 packs
Team Leaders still abundant at 1:12 packs with meaning Certified parallel to have mainly different players to this along with common base
- Clubs who have a women's side would have key players added in to avoid repetition from last year
- Even if repetition of players in not avoidable, at least it will be of different design and revised profile from last year

Footy's Finest; 27 cards at 1:144 packs:

FF10 Rory Sloan
FF11 Tom Rockcliff
FF12 Daniel Rich
FF13 Patrick Cripps
FF14 Scott Pentlebury
FF15 Cale Hooker
FF16 Aaron Sandilands
FF17 Nat Fyfe
FF18 Joel Selwood
FF19 Pat Dangerfield
FF20 Tom Lynch
FF21 Dylan Shiell
FF22 Luke Hodge
FF23 Nathan Jones
FF24 Todd Goldstien
FF25 Jack Ziebell
FF26 Chad Wingard
FF27 Robbie Gray
FF28 Dustin Martin
FF29 Jack Riewolt
FF30 Nick Riewold
FF31 Jack Steven
FF32 Josh P Kennedy
FF33 Lance Franklin
FF34 Nic Naneuto
FF35 Marcus Bomtempelli
FF36 Jason Johensan

So bottom line is, even if I'm off track of players depicted, those who will not be getting the guernsey concept this hear to have two FF cards and those who will to have one more from last year thus a 36 corresponding subset rather than 18.

In terms of Guernsey concept, would only be really throwing names into a post however do have a feeling I may not be completely off track:
Dons: Joe Deniher
Hawks: Luke Bruest
Suns: David Swallow; Tom Lynch; Aaron Hall; Matt Rossa; or Jarrod Harbrow
Giants: (if not Mummy); Greene; Scully; Devon Smith; Rory Lobb or maybe Zac Williams
Dees: Max Gawn
Eagles: Luke Shuey
Blues: Kade Simpson or Bryce Gibbs
Pies: Sidebottom; Ellitott or Levy Greenwood

Lol they are not going to do 27 footy's finest. It will be the teams who didn't get a footy's finest & guernseys from last year.

From my Hawks point I view I think Ben Stratton will have a sig card, and if there's a second sig I'll guess Duryea could be the other. As for guernsey card, Hodge, Rioli or Smith would be awesome. I just glanced over the Hawks senior list and not too many players left who haven't already had some sort of signature card with Select, so pretty confident Stratton will have one.

My tips for SCS from each club.

Adelaide: Rory Laird and Charlie Cameron
Brisbane: Stefan Martin and Mitch Robinson
Carlton: Kade Simpson and Sam Kerridge
Collingwood: Adam Treloar and Darcy Moore
Essendon: McDonald-Tipwunguti and Colyer
Fremantle: Neale and Johnson
Geelong: Lonergan and Zac Smith
Gold Coast: May and Saad
GWS: Shaw and Greene
Hawthorn: Stratton and Duryea
Melbourne: Oliver and Garlett
North: Higgins and MacMillan
Port: Ebert and Ryder
Richmond: Houli and Rioli
Saints: Dunstan and Weller
Sydney: Rampe and Tippet
West Coast: Wellingham and Kennedy
Western Bulldogs: Johannison and Hunter

Was always thinking of going with my Pies and Swans tips though @PieMad10 and @Matt26 confirmed that lol. Not many to pick from certain teams like Hawks, Cats and Bombers but some teams have a wider selection to choose from (GWS and Port).

Will see what Select end up going with. Might make a Finest and Guernsey Sig list aswell if time permits.

And here are my tips for front-end cards at time of writing - feel free to correct me with any other rumours and suggestions as time progressing towards June lol

Have heard that Goddard - Essendon, Daw - North Melbourne, Mumford - GWS are signatures in the #/240 set.

Cheers

So is it actually true Mummy will be a signer for the /240 non-patch concept? If the case, Greene will most likely to get the MWG concept - he'd sign one of those heaps better than a /240 concept lol
