NRL OCT 2014 SuperCoach

Sneaking into that final, where I'm probably going to get hammered lol
By the looks you got lucky, Hayne for Captain by Chris ended up not being the right guess.

The other Prelim looks like it was (maybe still is) interesting Scott tried the loophole and had scores of 103 / 83 / 77 and 77 outside of the 17.

Surprised Chris didn't loophole into Surgess before Hayne played and I was just waiting for it so I would do the same.

Doing the loophole didn't make much sense to me initally cause we could both had the same vc and ae but after Hayne went crap i thought Bainy might have done it as he still had the option where as i was now stuck with Hayne. In hindsight i should have done the loophole or thrown the c on Thurston and i probably would of won. I'll be back next season for my revenge. Good luck Bainy and Jarred in the GF.

well. that was interesting.

ive said it before and i'll say it again.. not a fan of the whole loophole deal.
anyways, that aside, that was pretty tight in the end..
jamie lyon pulled it out of the bag virtually for me..

will be an interesting GF. again not a fan of having the SC final on the last round where half of the players are already on holidays!

good luck bainy. you'll need it. haha

I spend so long contemplating it, almost glad I didn't in the end because out of Lyon, Mansour, Milford and Lolo they all went bananas!

Just few poll type questions:

Did you run out of trades and when?
Who was your buy of the year?
Who was your dud of the year?
Who was your worst trade?

Any others you can think of?

Cheers

For me I used my last trade in Rnd 26 bottom GF, only had one left at the start of the semi's and saved it for the GF.....money back.

Buy of the year is hard Johnston was good but let me down year end, Townsend was useful until dropped Rnd 24 as the Warriors went on their loosing streak.

Dud of the year is easy for me James Hasson carried him for 26 rounds and if his price could have dropped below $87 I'm sure it would have.

Gallen is my worst trade, got him in after origin for 1 huge score and then........held him for weeks until finally selling which left $185k sitting in the bank at the end of the year.

Buy of the year hayne he started off at 260 or something similar which was way to cheap

Biggest dud probably robbie farah, had the bloke for ages and dont think he ever cracked 60

I got knocked off in my GF by 7 points. :(
The previous week I cracked 1400 for the first time and had 100+ on the field - let down by Sean Johnson and Sam Burgess. But they were my best performers all year. With Hayne (best buy) and James Graham, the only players I kept the entire year.
I ran out of trades the last week of H2H.
Burnt heaps of trades on injuries (as we all did) but I actually sold and bought back both Tedesco and Fifita only to have them go down for the season. Finished with Fifita (at $400k) on the bench.
Never again Tedesco, he's blacklisted.
Great fun as usual, although very frustrating.
