I added a separate line item to my H&C policy, or at least got my wife to do it a while back.
Sorted it last year, and now looking to review it as collection is well above 10k and its the maximum AAMI would cover. Issue I've discovered is that the line item they've covered is only for portable items and theft, (i.e. if I took the cards to a show and they got stolen out of my car), but not fire, damage etc.
