I actually really enjoyed busting this box. Much better organised than the Goldie release and the misgivings I had about design and card style has been eliminated by seeing them all in one spot. So this is how I went ...

Finished busting a box plus 5 packs - 31 packs in total.

Ended up with a FULL base set plus 7 inserts (99 spares) .....

How many sleeves are in the album? Would I be able to fit my 2012/13 base set in there with a box of cards from this set.

How many sleeves are in the album? Would I be able to fit my 2012/13 base set in there with a box of cards from this set.

Not sure if any one has seen an album for this set yet. I have ordered thru TnP so will provide details once it arrives, but the a-league album from TnP was very generous with 27 sheets (9 cards per sheet) so there was room for 243 cards in that album, and double that if you do a back-to-back on each page (I.e 18 cards per sheet). [Of course spaces have still been left in that album for the missing Melbourne City cards ]

So hopefully the album for this set has a similar amount of sleeves. So doing the maths, the base set for the 2012/13 set was 106 cards (including 2 checklist cards) and the base set for this release is 184, but only 182 cards released, so 106 + 182 = 288 cards. So that would require 32 sheets (if just doing 9 cards per sheet).

Anyway, all theoretical until someone gets the actual album for this set.

I have seen an album on tnp for $25. Hopefully I have some spare sleeves somewhere if I need a couple more.
