I have setup the hide tags for use in posts.

Same as on other sites - just use the [noparse][hide] & [/hide][/noparse] tags in your post.

I like those when people use them in moderation. When I see a post where I need to open 10 of them I find it annoying. Especially when someone is hiding a common.

Hey now that's pretty schmick!!

With these sorts of add-ons, are there buttons for them? Like if we want to quote something we just paste the text from where ever, then highlight it, and hit the quote button.

Same for hiding things?
