Panini America’s esteemed National Treasures Basketball franchise is as iconic, as in-demand and as legendary as any of the NBA Logoman cards dotting its prestigious checklist. And in late April, it will deliver a dazzling 2016-17 edition that promises to deliver the customary supply of thrills, chills, “Oooohs” and “Aaaaahs” that have come to define the brand every year since the brand was first unveiled during the 2009-10 season.

Set to arrive in hobby shops across North America on April 19, 2016-17 National Treasures Basketball will deliver, on average, eight autograph or memorabilia cards and one Printing Plate 1/1 in every 10-card box. In addition to incorporating the most sought after Rookie Patch Autographs of the entire release year, this year’s edition also features the arrival of the Personalized insert that will introduce some truly unique inscriptions.

The additional highlights of 2016-17 National Treasures Basketball are many and include . . .

  • Look for full-letter jersey patch cards worn during the 2016 NBA Finals in NBA Finals Nameplates.
  • Find Printing Plate 1/1 cards from this year’s Panini America NBA Basketball products.
  • Look for some of the coolest memorabilia swatches of the year coupled with on-card autographs of rookies, veterans and legends.
  • The unique Hometown Heroes insert featuring on-card autographs and fitting nods to the hometowns of the NBA’s top players.

We’ll plenty more to preview on 2016-17 National Treasures Basketball in the coming weeks right here on The Knight’s Lance. But for now, enjoy this extended sneak peek that features some of the early on-card arrivals procured during the recent 2017 NBA All-Star Weekend.
