He's been good this year, but boy he must feel honored for winning it playing on a no-name, Josh Kennedy, in a 100 point win haha Should have got it Round 1 or 2.

yer i think they just gave it too for a accumulation of performances which pretty silly go im sure there must of been someone else that played better.. and afl probably got sick of malty wingeing that defender never get any rising star awards.. and malty can sure winge..

Josh kennedy is very good though, hes kinda like a embley clone, kinda looks like him and same body type, and can play a variety of postions..

But he's no Jonothon Brown

Well done to Brown. Hopefully he wins and has better luck with injuries than the last defender to win (Jared Rivers)
