do you think hes gone for good?

cheers:wave:

ha ha! what a tool! must of been at the casino watching danny green's fight and the car must of said 'freo suck' or something....

Done and dusted I'm afraid. Freo will ditch him and while he could be handy, at 30+ and clearly can't control himself, would another team take the risk?

You know whats ****ed?. There wuill be some team thta takes him for 100-200 a season and hes only gonna keep on the same path while the moneys in the bank. If these pricks cant satisfy themselves on their kind of money there is no hope for them.

Sadly your right !

Personally I hope no other AFL team picks him up

Here is the latest on Farmer !

Fremantle will fully support troubled forward Jeff Farmer in his quest to beat an alcohol problem, but at the same time they have handed out heavy sanctions to the 30-year-old.

In a statement released late on Thursday evening the Dockers acknowledged that they could have terminated Farmer’s contract in the wake of a series of irresponsible incidents, but instead they have handed down the following penalties.

• A maximum monetary sanction of $10,000 allowable under the AFL/AFLPA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Farmer will make a personal donation of $20,000 to the Cerebral Palsy Association for which he was an Ambassador in 2005 and 2006.

• There will be a range of conditions imposed on Farmer concerning welfare and behavioural issues which have been determined and will be discussed with Farmer and his management. As an example of these conditions, Farmer will be required to complete regular community service work with the Cerebral Palsy Association or other charity as an important part of his rehabilitation process.

• As well as sanctions imposed by the club, Farmer has also suffered the loss of personal endorsements to the value of approximately $25,000 per annum.

Fremantle CEO Cameron Schwab suggested that Farmer’s continuing involvement at the Dockers would assist greatly in the former Melbourne player’s overall stability.

Schwab also said Farmer would be available for selection for the remainder of 2007.

Interesting to see that he is still available for selection; obviously the draining of the bank balance was painful enough for the Wiz.
