Just a quick observation, I know entering ebay user name is a required field when joining, but I see that it is not displayed for all members. How do you you hide your ebay username?

Also why can you hide your ebay username?

its possible those members signed up prior to it becoming mandatory. If they edit their profile, they have to enter an ebay username. I think it's a good check for who you are dealing with for feedback etc. And you cannot "hide" it.

Isn't the feedback system on here more relevant than someone's ebay feedback? Also what if they don't use ebay? They can't join the forum?

I just think consistency is what's needed, either everyone can hide it or no one can hide it.

Personally I like seeing a members Ebay username (especially newbies) as it gives you a good feel for them as a trader / buyer / seller.
